Mike Crosby, a Kansas City native, graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy have been together since high school. Mike's father-in-law was a plumber and got Mike interested in the business. Following four years of training with Plumbers Local 8, Mike graduated with a Journeyman's License and later obtained his Master Plumber's License.
Mike trained as an apprentice at A.D. Jacobson, specializing in commercial plumbing. He then moved into residential plumbing, gaining extensive experience in the local sector. Following a year as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, an opportunity emerged for Mike to start his own company.
After starting Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he operated in new home builds and service areas. Today, Mike remains active in the field, bringing a wealth of experience from kitchen sinks to major sewer treatment facilities. I had been out of town for a couple of weeks in January and upon returning home we discovered that the pipes to the sink in the laundry room had frozen and burst. Crosby Plumbing was very helpful with getting expedited assistance to the house for the needed repairs. They were very considerate of our situation. The repair was completed as promised and we were back in working order with no mess left behind by the employees. I feel they are a great choice for plumbing work and would definitely call them again .

I've used Crosby twice now and they have been prompt and courteous, but more importantly they got the repair jobs done and the charges were more than reasonable. I had them work on my septic system and sump pump. The workers are considerate and pleasant. I would recommend them.

I recently moved to Linwood to live with my son & daughter-in-law in their 130 yr old huge 4bedroom, 3 bath house. Within a couple months I plugged up the kitchen sink using the disposal. Jason came out and quickly fixed the problem and told me all the types of foods that shouldn't be put down the disposal. And I NEVER use the disposal now & keep a strainer in both sinks all the time.
Then last week the toilet plugged up in the upper bathroom my grandson and I use. I could NOT get it unplugged with the plunger. I called Crosby Plumbing again and made an appt to have a new American Standard tall toilet installed (I have knee and back issues).
Jason came out today and removed the old nasty toilet, found a plastic bag that had been the issue (kids!) and installed the new toilet in about an hour. Jason is an efficient, friendly plumber that did an excellent job installing the new toilet and getting rid of the old nasty toilet. I will definitely be using Crosby Plumbing the next time I have an issue and I hope I'm lucky enough to have Jason ""save the day"" again!!!

When the plumber that was involved in the building of our house was not available for support I have leveraged Crosby Plumber with excellent results. When that plumber retired and there has been a plumbing related need arise I have continued to work with Crosby. Dustin has been great at planning/estimating a solution. Jason has gone the extra mile making things work with on-site execution of planned work to include site clean up. Jen is excellent with billing and scheduling. I recommend Crosby Plumbing

$250.00 for faucet install. Appropriate for our area is about $125.00 - my wife was home and accepted invoice. Feel like they took advantage of her.

I called to get a quote and was told that someone would get back with me and I never received a call back. I just went with another plumber.
Thanks for nothing!!
Actually 0 starts.

Our sump pump stopped working during a spring torrential downpour. We made a call to Crosby Plumbing around 8:00 in the evening and they were there in an hour to replace our sump pump. They were very courteous, quick and even came back the next day to check the pump when I had questions on how often it was running. The pump has been installed a few weeks now and running very well. I would definitely recommend Crosby Plumbing and plan on using them again if needed.

We had a sump pump put in to drain water coming into our garage. While Crosby workers were prompt and pleasant, they did not install the correct pump. It immediately broke, and we had to buy a brand new pump out of pocket. Crosby refused to take responsibility for their mistake and would not work with us with regards to a new pump. We got one quote for the job but ended up paying more after we'd already shelled out almost $3,500.

I called Crosby, Wanted a local business.
Asked for their plumber to install two faucetsI bought at Home Depot,
just like the ones I had.No drilling, just install two faucets like I have.
Three hours later, with a second plumber called, the faucets were installed. $512.00 to install two faucets! I was stunned.
I installed to original faucets twelve years ago in less than one hour.
Can't do on my back work anymore.
$512.00 to install two faucets. $512.00 for installing two faucets.
Yea, I will call that company again!

Had a plumbing issue I thought I could do but after going to 3 stores and no one knowing what to do I called Crosby plumbing. I thought they'd have to replace some pipe stuff. Instead they told me where I could find the part so I could replace it myself since it was only like a 60 second fix AND they did not charge for the visit. Class Act! Highly recommend them!
