I just noticed today that this critical plumbing repair was referred me before by my home warranty First American. I scheduled an appointment today for dishwasher installation and this guy named Brian showed up without notifying me! No phone call, no text messages and no emails!!! When he scheduled me prior to the appt he said from 9-1!! So I showed him my call log and text messages showing nothing from him. He continued arguing with me but I just ignored it. He parked slanted on my drive so I asked him nicely if he can straightened it out that way I can park my Carl but he was asinine and asked me where to park. I told him there in the driveway but you have to correct your parking so other car can park there. He continued arguing with me saying he needs to park his car when it's obvious my driveway can take 2 cars!!! This guy is a white trash, very unprofessional, lack of customer skills, NRA loving!!!!! I don't need your nasty white trash in my house, Brian!

Our toilets were clogged. We have a septic tank that was just emptied 4 months ago. We have two other units on the same septic. Only the main house was affected. Our home warranty FAHW assigned this company. After reading reviews I called them back asking to assign it to someone else. They said they don't go by reviews and we'd have to keep the appointment with them. I was hoping reviews were wrong. Well they were all right. He showed up. Said it wasn't a clogged pipe it was a septic issue and he couldn't do anything the best he could do was write a report to have the septic emptied. I talk to the septic company that emptied it 4 months prior. They said it shouldn't the full and inspection certificate shows no issues with the septic system. I texted Brian to see if he could come back and at least attempt to empty it to see if that was the problem. He said it was a full tank. I told
Him it wasn't and he responded with "" well what did i see"". Thankfully the home warranty was willing to assign a new Plummer. They called back and said the report from
Brian stated he wasn't able to clear the clog and the issue wasnt a full tank it was a problem with the leach lines. Which was all new to me as he said it was the full tank that was the issue. He lied in his report. So here i am. Day 2. 7 people in the home. Now showers and no running toilets. This is the worst company ever and i will be writing my home warranty to try to remove him from contracting. He's the rudest person I've had to deal with ever. I have no idea how he stays in business. I'm pretty sure the few 5 stars he got on here were friends or family of his because there is no way he's even worthy of one star. I'm adding text from Brian about my full septic tank and the transcript from the voicemail from the home warranty about the report.

After reading all of the reviews I don't understand why First American Warranty still does business with this company. My insurance sent him due to a clogged kitchen sink. He came within a week and walked into my kitchen took a look at the sink (didn't bother looking under the sink) and said that the problem with these new builds is there is no ""cleanout"" installed. He said he needed to install one and cut through my piping and drywall. All he did was give me an estimate of 800 dollars and said he would be contacting my insurance company for the money. Talk about a scam. I told my insurance company I did not feel comfortable with what he told me. I found someone on my own, he came in the next day, fixed my clogged sink and charged me 65$!

I like to thank Brian for coming over on 8/25/22 to install a shower park so our shower will run properly. He showed exceptional customer service and was very nice person to talk to. Your company needs more plumbers like Brian that shows how to hand out great customer service.....Thanks for employees like Brian that builds on keeping customers happy and workmanship.......................

If I could provide zero starts I would. Our home warranty insurance through first American calls on this company for all their plumbing repairs. I requested service and they came out on Monday 7/18 and told me there was no clogged drain. I had family stay for the next 5 days and of course they all said it was clogged. So first off, these people make you feel like an idiot thinking there's no problem. Then 4 days later our shower is still clogged and kitchen sink debris is now showing up in the shower. I would stay clear from this place and if you have first American warranty I would tell them to pick a different plumber especially a plumber that obviously has better reviews. These reviews aren't lying people.

Critical plumbing repair was assigned to us by First American Home Warranty TWICE!!! Both times the same guy came out. Didn't fix the plumbing problem, collected the money, was rude, and left.

First time simply said there was nothing he could do about the dishwasher filling with water. Offered no suggestions or possible fixes. Collected money and left. Oh was also super rude, which may be excusable if you do great work...not the case here. I brushed it off, called our regular plumber who came out and not only explained the problem but offered TWO suggestions for fixing it. Took him less than an hour to fix!!!

Second experience was even worse...1st American assigned him to look at a water heater that wasn't working. He came out. Looked at it. Complained that the water heater was ""too close"" to the washer/dryer unit and all the lint from the dryer had clogged up the air intake and that because of this he couldn't fix the issue or recommend to first american to replace the water heater. This was an old water heater at the end of its manufacturer-rated life....clearly normal wear and tear and this guy made an arbitrary excuse so he didn't have to fix it...oh and he did tell me he WOULDNT fix it because it would require him going up the stairs with a new water heater...so he had no intentions to fix anything the moment he got up there and this was simply an excuse to get out of it and still make $85. Of course we called our trusty regular plumber and when asked whether it was a lint issue i was told there is honestly no way to know this because of how old the water heater was and the fact that it could just be the end of its life. While there could be many reasons the water heater failed it was not even 50% likely that lint was the culprit. What I should have done was demand that he show me the code for water heater installation and if it said anywhere that this wasn't to code he should've fixed it under the warranty or reported to first american that his company wasn't able to handle the claim.

Similar reviews of this guy all over the internet.

Brian is prompt honest and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone. He does clean work , will not try to sell you things you don't need. I had a bad experience with a different plumber. Brian showed up and did a great job fixing what the previous person couldn't do and he did it in less than half the time

My home warranty assigned a project (4 different plumbing issues) to Critical Plumbing. The technician came and did not fix anything. He mentioned that the installation was not done properly. Anyway I talked with my home warranty customer service and explained the situation. They assigned a different contractor, who came today could fix everything without any problem and took only one hour. My wife mentioned that the approach was to hire him and this way he could make more money (just to clarify, the technician did not mention verbally). Thanks

I had a small leak under the sink and contacted American home warranty about it and they put me in touch with this guy. 4 days passed before we had any contact which I initiated and then my appointment took TWO WEEKS. So much for critical. Once he finically got there since the leak had stopped he said he couldn't do anything even though I told him exactly where the leak was. He did absolutely no troubleshooting. Yes, I still have the leak, waiting to see what happens now
