If I could provide zero starts I would. Our home warranty insurance through first American calls on this company for all their plumbing repairs. I requested service and they came out on Monday 7/18 and told me there was no clogged drain. I had family stay for the next 5 days and of course they all said it was clogged. So first off, these people make you feel like an idiot thinking there's no problem. Then 4 days later our shower is still clogged and kitchen sink debris is now showing up in the shower. I would stay clear from this place and if you have first American warranty I would tell them to pick a different plumber especially a plumber that obviously has better reviews. These reviews aren't lying people.

Critical plumbing repair was assigned to us by First American Home Warranty TWICE!!! Both times the same guy came out. Didn't fix the plumbing problem, collected the money, was rude, and left.

First time simply said there was nothing he could do about the dishwasher filling with water. Offered no suggestions or possible fixes. Collected money and left. Oh was also super rude, which may be excusable if you do great work...not the case here. I brushed it off, called our regular plumber who came out and not only explained the problem but offered TWO suggestions for fixing it. Took him less than an hour to fix!!!

Second experience was even worse...1st American assigned him to look at a water heater that wasn't working. He came out. Looked at it. Complained that the water heater was ""too close"" to the washer/dryer unit and all the lint from the dryer had clogged up the air intake and that because of this he couldn't fix the issue or recommend to first american to replace the water heater. This was an old water heater at the end of its manufacturer-rated life....clearly normal wear and tear and this guy made an arbitrary excuse so he didn't have to fix it...oh and he did tell me he WOULDNT fix it because it would require him going up the stairs with a new water heater...so he had no intentions to fix anything the moment he got up there and this was simply an excuse to get out of it and still make $85. Of course we called our trusty regular plumber and when asked whether it was a lint issue i was told there is honestly no way to know this because of how old the water heater was and the fact that it could just be the end of its life. While there could be many reasons the water heater failed it was not even 50% likely that lint was the culprit. What I should have done was demand that he show me the code for water heater installation and if it said anywhere that this wasn't to code he should've fixed it under the warranty or reported to first american that his company wasn't able to handle the claim.

Similar reviews of this guy all over the internet.

Brian is prompt honest and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone. He does clean work , will not try to sell you things you don't need. I had a bad experience with a different plumber. Brian showed up and did a great job fixing what the previous person couldn't do and he did it in less than half the time

My home warranty assigned a project (4 different plumbing issues) to Critical Plumbing. The technician came and did not fix anything. He mentioned that the installation was not done properly. Anyway I talked with my home warranty customer service and explained the situation. They assigned a different contractor, who came today could fix everything without any problem and took only one hour. My wife mentioned that the approach was to hire him and this way he could make more money (just to clarify, the technician did not mention verbally). Thanks

I had a small leak under the sink and contacted American home warranty about it and they put me in touch with this guy. 4 days passed before we had any contact which I initiated and then my appointment took TWO WEEKS. So much for critical. Once he finically got there since the leak had stopped he said he couldn't do anything even though I told him exactly where the leak was. He did absolutely no troubleshooting. Yes, I still have the leak, waiting to see what happens now

Brian came out to my home for a claim I submitted with 1st American Home Warranty. He was very professional and thorough in explaining what could be done with my shower / bath tub and water pressure issues. He even stayed a bit and provided some feedback on another issue/claim I had open with the home warranty. I highly recommend this business! They will be honest in what can be done with your plumbing issue.

We have a plumbing issue so we called our home warranty place and they sent us Critical Plumbing Repair. The guy called the day before he came and was told the issue. We told him it was the main line and we don't have a clean out in our yard when we spoke. We told him we didnt want him to come out and not be able to do anything and still be charged! He said that he has to fix it regardless. So he gets to my house and due to there being no accessible clean out he didn't try anything else, wouldn't get on the roof (too dangerous). All he did was run some water and say there was nothing he could do. Still charged us and left! I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone. I would strongly discourage using during these trying times!

Brian from Critical Plumbing, whom we found via First Home Warranty, was responsive, prompt and knowledgeable when we sought help with poor water temperature and pressure and clogged drains to our sinks shortly after moving into our new home. My former husband is a plumber - a very good one- so I have high standards, but Brian did not disappoint. He even left the bathroom he worked in cleaner than how it was when he started. We will definitely call him again in the future.

Worst experience ever, I took an entire day off work for the plumber to spend 13 minutes at my house and say ""there is nothing I can do"", absolutely embarrassing this company is recommended by first American warranty, would never ever do business with this company! NOT A LEGIT COMPANY. **Update, after calling a legitimate plumbing company my problem was resolved in about 45 minutes**

This company isn't legit. I have this contractor through my homeowner insurance. They send them to fix my toilet. Instead of fixing it, they take $75 check for my deductible and don't fix the toilet for me. They need to fix the handle and flushing system inside the tank. They just want the money without doing the work and write a report saying that the chemical (Blue Scrubbing Bubble Drop in) inside the tank causes this rust on the Stainless steel part inside the tank. The whole nation use this product and I use it in every house I live in. Who are they to proof or tell that that chemical causes that issue. If that is the case, I will need to let that Scrubbing bubbles company knows that their product creates this issues. I wasn't home otherwise, I wouldn't give them the check. They claim my insurance won't cover because it isn't normal wear and tear. I call them 10 times that day during their business hours. I leave a message to call me back but they do not return my calls. I want to give them a chance to fix it. They obviously do not want to take responsibility for this claim and do not want the business. I paid 780 a year to have a home owner warranty and each service I pay $75 deductible. We are talking about $25 parts to fix this problem but the plumber is greedy. They have no customer service whatsoever. The home warranty sent another contractor and fix the problem finally. I don't think this company deserve my check or deserve any job from home owners warranty. I already let the home owner insurance know. I don't even know how they get their license from. Be aware and don't use them!
