Steve J.My furnace stopped working on Wednesday evening. Chris, the first service technician replaced a fuse on Thursday which got the furnace running again temporarily until Thursday evening. On Friday I had Dave a second service technician scope the furnace chamber with a camera and determined it had cracks in it which Dave showed me. After 30 years of service, my furnace died of old age. Dave arranged for Rich, one of their specialists, to quote me a new furnace system Friday afternoon at a price I thought was very competitive. Rich arranged for a team to install the furnace the following day on Saturday. I found the whole team very professional and would highly recommend them.
Sam Z.Asked me to pay about $400 for replacement my thermostat (under Lennox warranty) that did take 5-7 minutes. After long conversation with manager and VP reduced to $180 so still a bit expensive for 5 minutes
Told the soonest they could be here for a non-emergency was 10 days. Then told $89 to drive 5 minutes from their facility to ""look at the job (change an existing toilet and 2 faucets) and then they would work out a quote to do the work"". After 20 years of using Chrisafulli it's time to try the #2 plumber.
Woke up this morning, house freezing, furnace not working. I live less than a half a mile from highly rated Crisafulli Brothers in Albany, and thought I would give them a call as they project they are professional and caring. Boy was I wrong. I was told they would NOT come out to service because I was not a current customer.
Well, nice way to build up a customer base as you turn away potential customers in need!!
Caitlin N.Being in the housing industry the only reason why I call HVAC/Plumbing guys is for routine maintenance and inspections. As a good homeowner I call Crisafulli to have them come service the boiler and make sure our family is set for the winter on our heating system. Convenience is what I was after, and disappointment was what I received. After needing to schedule several weeks out the tech finally arrived to tinker around and charge $150. Weeks later I am STILL commenting on the sloshing radiator lines. I look at the receipt to see what was even covered and see a next to the box about asking the homeowner about bleeding the lines. I call customer service to see why we weren't asked and what it would have taken and what it would still take to have this done. Their response was a discounted rate for coming BACK out. NO THANKS. I'll do it myself, save the additional costs that would have not been there in the first place, and never call Crisafulli again. As a Real Estate Agent, I don't believe I'll recommend them to my clients as well. Customer Service just wasn't there...
Other than an issue with an ill-trained dispatcher(which was rectified by the genl mgr), I had great service on my tankless water heater and the Tech. was extremely knowledgeable and professional. This happened about 4 weeks ago and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crisafulls Bros. to neighbors and friends.

I thought I posted the Crisafulli response to me. Someone from there contacted me after seeing my bad review of May 4, 2016. She listened to my story and found the bill we paid for the plumber who came to our house. She said that Crisafulli would reimburse us for the house call. She said we would receive a check for $137 plus tax but that it would take 2 weeks. That was 4 weeks ago. We still have not received any check. So while I thought it was great that they would at least reimburse us for a bad house call, I am disappointed that is has not happened yet.;
Tonya M.Great service. Fast and knowledgable. Hired them twice in emergency- one for leaking valves under sink and one for backed up sewer. Both techs were fast and fixed the problem right the first time. Originally called them because they I know they have given back to community programs benefiting kids. Great device all around! Thank you
Porter C.Methinks not indeed.
The side of the truck says HVAC, but they tech said, ""I'm not a furnace guy"".
The website said well service, but the tech said, ""I'm not a well guy"".
The tech asked where we were from and then responded, ""I hate city folk"".
Take a guess where we're from.
I suppose we're the stupid and gullible first-time home owners simply trying to get the heat and hot water working in our new house. This company did nothing to help and charged for the honor.
Oh, the tech also spent quite awhile talking about his prior exploits of going above and beyond for previous customers... which would have been great had he hit the minimum for us.
The tech inexplicably called us ""libertarians"", which is true inasmuch that I plan on exercising my personal liberty to never use this company again.
Find a local plumber who cares about you and your home, not these jokers.
If you want to be OVERCHARGED with SHODDY work, then this is your company. I have used them three times:
First time, OK, but I wasn't watching them closely so could have been overcharged.
Second time, left me without hot water for several days, only to come back and tell me that the person screwed up and I could have used it all along. Charged me for the second person to come out and tell me that they messed up, even after I complained.
Third time, I was willing to give them another shot, but without much trust. Ended up charging me for over 1 1/4 hours of work which all involved the plumber/s sitting in the truck and me without water for an extra night. Called to complain and they were only willing to refund 30 minutes. Very shady in their management, who will only say that they don't know what their plumbers are doing. EXACTLY!!! However, the manager DID admit that the plumbers will round up time if they stop at 5 minutes past. That equals 25 minutes of rounding the first day and 25 minutes x two plumbers the second day at $125/ hour per plumber. Prepare to be RIPPED OFF!!!!!!! There is no excuse for this type of overcharging
