I found Robert through the neighborhood app Nextdoor, thank you to the person who recommended him for actually another issue with the toilet which oddly fixed itself, but recently our shower was backed up and it needed to be snaked. After reading the five star reviews, I felt confident calling Robert from the start and he didn't disappoint. He picked up my call right away I explained the problem, he told me to text my information and said he could come by the same day or come the following day. He unfortunately couldn't come the same day, but he called me before the day was over to inform me of this and said he would be in the neighborhood doing another job the next day and estimated the time he'd be at my house. He also said he would call 30 mins prior, which he did. Upon arriving he assessed the situation before determining which tool would be needed to snake the drain and he also replaced a corroded part on our tub where the snake typically goes into to pull out the gunk. He was very professional and answered our questions about this just being something homeowners must do because of hair build up and soap and he did pull up a fair amount, he also later sent me a text of another hair catcher that may be more effective, but bottom line this is just something that needs to be done annually or just depending on when you notice your shower drain not draining properly. I am very happy with the service provided, I even got a discount. He also does zelle, check or it said venmo on the invoice, so that is handy because I am someone who doesn't have cash on hand. Robert was knowledgeable, professional, honest, reliable and had great communication. I would recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Robert came over to our house in Brentwood and did an amazing job of diagnosis and repair. He arrived right on time and was so patient and kept everything so neat and clean. In fact he left everything cleaner than before he got there. He is an amazing expert in plumbing and has great knowledge about other areas of contracting and building. We had a problem that several other plumbers had either been clueless about or gave wrong diagnoses, but Robert figured it out very quickly with great expertise. It is so amazing to find a plumbing company this good!

First, let me say I am a retired mechanical engineer and have a lot of experience with plumbing applications. About six or seven years ago, Robert Crespin installed a pressure reducing valve in the main water line to our house. What impressed me was how well thought out the plumbing was which allowed a plumber to change the reducing valve should it fail, and not require a major redo of the piping. He also explained to me the operation of the valve. In the past seven years, I have had several plumbers work on several items, and their work was OK, but they were more interested in completing the job and get onto the next one because of the overloaded schedule their company had imposed on them. In my experience, Robert Crespin does not work this way. The 9/12/2017 job involved installing a sump pump in the basement where the hot water heater was located. He was very knowledge of the existing codes for this application. His quote was professional and complete, specifying all parts and labor. Once again, the installation was well thought out and planned and he had all the necessary parts on hand to complete the job. To give two examples of the neatness of the job: (1) The power cord from the pump to the outlet was taped to and behind the drain pipe and was not visible until plug was plugged into the outlet receptacle. Most plumbers would just let the power cord dangle in the air. (2) The cut outs of the floor grating closely cleared the copper pipe from the T&PRV relief valve and the 1-1/2"" PVC sump pump drain pipe. Again, most plumbers would cut a large opening to make their life simple. I would say Robert has an artist's eye applied to plumbing in addition to being a craftsman. The completed job was such you would want to take a picture of it and put a frame around it. And yes, everything worked the first time. I would definitely use Robert Crespin again, without any hesitation.

This is the second time I have worked with Crespin Plumbing. They do excellent work. Robert is highly skilled, honest, timely and explains exactly what is wrong. And more than that, he gives you maintenance instructions. Today he cleared a badly blocked kitchen drain. He mentioned that I should avoid using Drano to avoid pipe damage. He also showed me how he removed a joint to snake the pipe to avoid damaging the mechanism rather than going straight through the sink, itself. That might seem like a small thing, but pipes in the condo are old. My neighbor had another plumbing service come out for the same thing and the HOA wound up having to repair a busted main line.
