?BUYER BEWARE:? Stay away from Creative Structures, INC pool company!!!!! Walking away and leaving jobs undone. Suing homeowners for nonpayment after he half-asses jobs and doesn't pay contractors though homeowner pays 95% of what is owed IN CASH (via check so there is proof of payment) and NOT paying contractors. You build money pits. Concrete slanting so bad toward the house that water rushes into the home every time it rains. Retaining walls that have to be replaced in 3 to 5 years. Taking months on jobs he says will take 1 month. Dumping dirt from the dig in the empty lot next to your house in such a way the water drains right onto the pool deck. Leaving trash and debris all over the jobsite. Building pools with no way to drain it. No drainage system in the pool deck. Tacking on tens of thousands of eroneous charges.

I as a sub-contractor worked on a project for Mike McAtee, owner of Creative Structures. In return for my hard work and my money spent to do his project, I was paid with a returned check. Please be careful, if you work for him. His father even wrote a check for money down to purchase materials, only to find out he has no check writing authority for the company. Mike McAtee makes his company look good off of other contractor's hard work & money. When asked to be paid, after finding out he wrote a returned check, says, he's been through this several times & is an expert at theft of service & ""See you in court!"" If you hire him, just remember, even the sub-contractor can put a lien on your home, if work was preformed.
