Charles is fantastic - fixed our complicated (old and improperly installed the first time) fixtures and welded new hose outlets. He had to come back several time due to the wrong trim kit I ordered... Friendly and knowledgeable - he found the old trim kit part number I should have ordered. Even though I ended up not using CRC Plumbing, I would like to give them five stars for being very responsive and for the great communication. I had a leaking gas valve, which was obviously en emergency (the gas to my house had to be shut off). Since it was a weekend, all the plumbers were extremely busy. Nevertheless CRC plumbing listened, responded and scheduled an appointment to fix it on Sunday. One of the other plumbers ended up being able to come sooner, so I ended up using them, but CRC Plumbing will be one of the first places I call next time I have a plumbing need.

I called Charles at CRC this morning at 10am and he finished up a current job, came to my house and completed my leaky valve replacement by 12:15pm. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest and straightforward. I would highly recommend him and plan to use him in the future if any plumbing issues arise.

Charles is a thorough plumber combining a craftsman's expertise with standards of excellence. He replaced our Bradford White water heater which had not been installed to code by the previous vendor. He arrived 5 minutes early for the appointment. Charles was careful to review and explain what was needed and why. He installed an expansion chamber and we wanted to add a new Grundfos recirculation pump to replace our 17 year old one. Charles re-plumbed and replaced some copper pipe to improve the water flow. He used quality parts in all cases and his handiwork was excellent. Charles triple checked all the fittings. He made sure that everything was up to code including adding the gas line ""Drip T"" bit of iron pipe which catches debris or moisture in the gas line. Even the little things were carefully managed. The galvanized vent pipe is supposed to have three tap screws per joint to meet code. Charles did that and taped the seams too. He wanted to insure that there could be no carbon monoxide leaks. We now have a professional installation with everything meeting local code. Charles even had a Square credit card reader for his smart phone to handle a credit card payment in under a minute. Plus, he made the garage cleaner than it was before he did the job. Sometimes the difference between first class and no class is 10%. As the owner operator, Charles makes sure that CRC Plumbing is first class!

I wouldn't call CRC if they were the last plumber in town. I've dealt with numerous plumbers over the years, in many states, and have never had an experience even remotely as bad as what I experienced with CRC. He left my house a mess, both inside and out (I have many unbelievable pictures), without clearing a blockage and charged me over $600 for his failed attempt (it was initially over $800, but I was able to reduce the bill, even after being threatened by with a ""I know where you live"" quote). On top of all this, he repeatedly insulted me for not keeping my pipes clean! Unbelievable! Another plumber came in the next day and said he wouldn't charge a penny if he couldn't clear it, but he ended up clearing it quickly for less than $200, and stated that CRC had been working in the wrong location. CRC was attempting to clear the blockage near the street when in fact it was about 75 feet away on the side of the house; he worked for hours in the wrong spot and charged me $165 per hour for his mistake! Unlike CRC, the other plumber was embarrassed and apologetic for CRC's service.
I know CRC has many positive reviews, but my experience was an absolute nightmare and very unprofessional. Beware!

I contacted three plumbing companies in addition to CRC Plumbing. The only company to call back was Charles from CRC. Though the job involved was not huge, he and his young protege were at my home well before the 4 hour window he gave me. He was fair, honest and forthright in what he was going to do for the 2 problems I had. If I ever have any other plumbing problems in the future, he will be the first person I call. Thanks again Charles.

And I didn't even end up using CRC . . .

I called regarding my Noritz tankless which had stopped working. Charles told me everything I needed to know to make the right decision, which was to just replace the unit myself.

Then, when the gas line was not big enough, he talked me through my options and told me when he was available.

I ended up using someone else who could get out that same day but I would call CRC for any future plumbing issues because he spent so much time with me and he wasn't even going to earn $1.

Another great experience using CRC for a plumbing issue. Thankfully we have only had three plumbing issues in seven years and Charles is the only guy I'll use. Making an appointment was fast and easy for a visit the next morning, and he arrived within the first half-hour of the two hour window I was given. Friendly and professional, I appreciated him putting clean covers over his boots each time he came in and out of the house. He assessed the issue quickly and gave me several options and prices on how to proceed. He installed our new disposal unit quickly, verified all possible scenarios of leaks multiple times and left the sink area super clean. He turned me onto his high quality youtube videos as well which help troubleshoot common issues and warn people against plumbing misuse, which I also found very helpful. Honesty and integrity all the way, I am glad to recommend Charles and CRC plumbing if you are within his service area.

I can only echo all the other positive reviews. On time, fast, clean (booties on and off with each trip into the house,) priced as advertised. Both Charles and Steven were personable and helpful. Charles advised on other issues: pressure regulator worn out; water heater not installed according to code, which will negate water damage claims in the event of an earthquake. I'm very glad he was recommended by our neighbor.
