Crane Plumbing Repair & Maintenance

I was referred to Floyd at Crane Plumbing by my Realtor who spoke very highly of him. Unfortunately, something has gone terribly wrong since he last used them. What should have been a simple job for a plumber, turned into a mess. He installed a new Moen Valve and used material strictly forbidden in the Moen instructions. After I had to have a newly finished wall cut open and several visits from another plumber it was determined that not only was the valve installed incorrectly, the tub drain cover was the wrong size allowing water to pool and it was not attached to the lever. There is more, but I think you get the picture.

Unless you like living without a bathroom for months on end, hire someone competent to do the job.

I was driving south on 101 on a Thursday night rush hour when this van decided to go the speed limit with 20 cars deep behind him in the fast lane ... no one in front of him for at least a good mile.. if his driving is as bad as his plumbing services.. this is a disaster.. and he flipped off my man!! I would barely give them a star!!! It's called courtesy driving!!!

Floyd and Jeff came out and installed a new water heater for me. I have used Crane Plumbing before, but somehow I forgot about them. After getting one ridiculous ""upsell"" estimate and one ""out of town"" (East Bay) reference from Home Depot, I remembered Crane Plumbing. I like to use local Santa Rosa workers when I can, especially after the fires. It's so nice to know a good plumber. Thanks, Crane Plumbing!

Over the weekend we had an issue with water in our home, I came across Crane Plumnjng and they quickly sent someone over to investigate what was going on. Floyd was knowledge, friendly and fixed our problem very fast, I was very pleased with the service. I hope we do not have any more issues, but if we do, I will not hesitate to call Crane again.

I'm the office manager at Summerfield Chiropractic, and when we had a toilet disaster in the middle of our busy work day, Crane Plumbing came out promptly, fixed the problem very quickly, and offered to fix our deteriorating flapper/handle if we would like. I took him up on it, and was very pleased with how fast he was, and how reasonable the price. I will definitely call them again if we have any plumbing needs!

I want to start by stating that Floyd & Jeff are the BEST! A few weeks ago I had a serious leak/plumbing problem at our house in Forestville. Crane Plumbing was referred to us by a family friend, so I contacted them. It was late, about 9:30 pm when I called and left a message. Within minutes my phone rang & it was Floyd from Crane Plumbing. Floyd promptly arranged an appointment (with Jeff) to come out and inspect/repair the leak.

On the day of the appointment Jeff arrived (actually a bit early - awesome!) and was prepared & ready to go. Jeff performed a very thorough inspection and found the issue within no time - he really knows his stuff! The problem was a rotted & leaking pipe in the ceiling. After spending some time with me to discuss the repair, Jeff was on it & getting it taken care of! As I said, he came very prepared, had everything he needed and it was wonderful! When the job was done, Jeff had cleaned up very nicely & the place was left spotless! Again, it was such a wonderful transaction and I felt very good about how the job was done & who did it.

A few days later I realized there was another issue and needed Crane to come back out to inspect the new problem. Floyd scheduled Jeff right away.

Upon Jeff's inspection, he discovered it was not a plumbing issue but rather an electrical issue. However, Jeff didn't just tell me & leave...Nope! Instead he sat down with us and went thru the issue, explaining to us the potential seriousness and what we should do to resolve it. Jeff actually took the time to walk me thru it & showed me what was going on. This way I knew what to tell the electrician, and he even said I could have the electrician contact him if he had any questions. I certainly asked a million questions myself and Jeff answered each & every one of them with patience, confidence, and respect. It was just so nice & refreshing to have someone come out who didn't want to rip us off, who was very knowledgeable - not talking a bunch of bull, and calm/confident in his work and recommendations. It was all of those components that were very reassuring for me during such a stressful situation! Lastly, Jeff was just so darn nice!

I was now faced with an electrical issue that needed to be resolved and upon asking Jeff if he knew a good electrician, he called the office and Floyd recommended someone for me - who turned out to be equally as wonderful as Jeff & Floyd at Crane Plumbing!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Crane Plumbing for their professionalism, honesty, and very fair prices! You went above & beyond for us & made our very stressful situation a million times easier!

From here on out it's only Crane Plumbing for me!

I feel bad because its taken me weeks to write this- especially since he did such an awesome job. I had 2 big problems- a leaky sink in the kitchen and a hot issue in the shower. Something was wrong with the ""hot"" water side because every time I showered, burning hot water would pour out from the bottom. We had a different plumbing company come out and that guy said it was normal because I lived in such an old house. I had to accept that answer. But when Floyd came over from Crane plumbing he knew that was not the cause. The problem was that since the house was indeed old it needed special tools to get at the issue. Floyd didn't let that stop him. Within an hour both of my water problems were fixed. He was nice and seemed to know his stuff. Thanks again.
