Minus 1 star.... These guys are so crooked, first of all they are now Ritz Plumbing, They did a re-pipe for me in 2014 they installed perma lining, the lining is fine and is holding up but they failed to change the clean out which is required by code.... I just recently had some other plumbing work done and was told this. The clean out should have been changed out and a two way flush should have been put in but they only put it in one way. they just connected the perma lining to the old remaining pipe. What a bunch of lazy ass people. I brought this to their attention just the other day and they told me that I didn't tell them I wanted two way. I AM NOT A PLUMBING EXPERT - you moron! I am seriously considering taking them to court. The current pluumbing contractor has provided me with written and photographic evidence of their lackluster job performance.

I would seriously consider going elsewhere for your plumbing needs!

Scam artists. Stay far, far away.

Took my elderly mother for a run. She's of the generation that (foolishly) trusts what people tell her.

She needed a new water heater. They came out & told her there was a gas leak & that she was in mortal danger. She told them that she'd call 911 and the PG&E immediately and they told her not to worry as they had it covered.

They kept upping their estimate, lower priced units were out of stock, again telling her how dangerous the situation was & how quickly she needed to act. She said she needed to run the expense by my father who was out of town on business and they said, ""Are you really the type of woman who has to run purchases by your husband? This is an emergency. There could be an explosion at any minute."" She was so panicked that she signed away well over $10k.

A year's worth of college tuition now resides in the pockets of these criminals.

They are supposed to be an air conditioning (HVAC) contractor. This is what they continue to advertise. Apparently they bought the business which was extremely well run with great expertise in the past. The new owners don't tell you that they are plumbers and don't have the same level of HVAC expertise, quality, or know how as the previous owner. Their customer service left a lot to be desired. We made an initial appt with them (not knowing that they are the new owners) which they cancelled and postponed. We had no air conditioner for a week in the heat of July waiting for these guys to come. When they arrived some days later, they didn't have refrigerant on board. Although they knew the system required it. They wanted to come back at a later date to charge the unit. Based my observation, the contractor was using plumber tools on our air conditioner valves which you could see his tool was leaving marks on the valves. We will never go back to these guys. In any case, we contacted another HVAC contractor who came in the next day and charged the system and did maintenance with reasonable price.

ZERO point ZERO is the true review.

Called these people to repair a leaking tankless they had put in 7 years earlier...under a different company name. First gent showed up in another companies truck, took one look and said, It's leaking and can't be repaired, I'll send you a quote on a new one....nothing. I called the manufacturer, they looked up the unit and sent replacement parts under warranty...no charge. Called CM again to explain and have them swap out parts. two gents showed up in yet another companies truck, 2 this time, never saw CM's trucks. This pair of rocket designers took their one look and proceeded to tell my wife that to replace the heat exchanger (one of the new parts I already had) would cost $3,700 and that the better choice would be a new unit installed for $8,000. Believe me my wife isn't stupid but sure glad I walked in as well.
Called MetPure, local referred company, and they swapped out parts in 1 hour for a 10th of CM's quote, warranty included.
There are some very reliable, hard working, independent plumbers out there...this certainly isn't one of them.

I will not give them any stars! They are expecting us to order parts under their warranty! Have you ever heard of such crap! Our receipt says ""one year warranty on labor, 6 years on parts."" No where does it say I have to order parts! The water heater is 5 months old! Have you ever heard such crap! Do not do business with these people!! We paid $1175 for this thing...not a cheap one by any means. Does that sound like customer service to you? Do you want to do business with them? We will continue to fight with them, no way are we going to do their work. BBB here I come!

I was referred to this plumber by a friend. I called this morning for an appointment and the receptionist said they'd meet me at my house within the next two hours. Fifteen minutes later a tech called me and asked me to describe the work that needed to be done. Once I briefly described the work, he said the estimate would be $1250. Huh? That's so odd and unprofessional. He didn't even come to my house or look at what needed to be done. Thanks but no thanks!

Willy & Jonathan did a great job replacing my water line from the street to the house. They replaced the sod grass so it hardly shows a long cut. I also had a water filtering system put in. Water is delicious & so clear; showers so refreshing; & faucet/pipe chemical stains are gone. Friendly guys. Great job! Sharon, Walnut

My water heater started leaking Tuesday evening. I called the phone number on the water heater Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM, which turned out to be Craig Mechanical. I was told they had a slot for me between 10:00 AM and noon. I called back at 12:45 and was told they were en route. At 2:15 I called again and spoke to the office manager who promised somebody out here within an hour to an hour and a half. At 4:00 PM a tech showed up.

I had bought my previous water heater from San Dimas Plumbing nine years ago next week. The owner had written 10 Year Warranty on my receipt and on the unit. Craig bought the phone number (at least) from San Dimas Plumbing when the owner KC retired.

The tech showed me a text that said my unit only had a three year warranty from the factory despite my written receipt. He then called his general manager and chatted for a few minutes. He then asked me if i had been performing maintenance on the water heater. Maintenance? I answered honestly that I hadn't ever heard of maintenance on a water heater. He told me then that the warranty was voided because I hadn't drained it a couple times a year.

Rather than argue with the tech, I told him to tell those people to fly a kite. If his GM was on fire, I wouldn't spit on him to put it out.

This whole process was completely disappointing and I wouldn't recommend them to sweep my gutter. I'm reporting them to the BBB too.

1 star is definitely too much. I wish I had never contacted them.

I had a problem with my water heater and they said it would cost $1500 for the new part or $3000 for a new unit. Since my unit was 8 years old, I figured it would be better to just go new and save myself trouble in a few years.

They gave me two options for new units. I chose one with better reviews, and they said that they couldn't get it and needed to give me the other option. I said OK, because I needed hot water.

The first tech that diagnosed the problem ended up leaving the company shortly before the installation was scheduled. A few weeks in, the front office manager/receptionist was gone as well. Red flags anyone?

I would've been frustrated if it were just the few no-show or late appointments, but somewhat satisfied if I at least had hot water, but that wasn't the end of it. Initially they installed one unit (and I actually had hot water for a few days), and then they said they needed to replace that unit with a ""better one"". I asked why and didn't get much information, because the front office has no idea what's going on.

It was nothing but error messages and inconsistent (15 seconds on, 1 minute off) hot water for a few months, during the wintertime no less. I had the manufacturer's certified tech come out, and he said the installation was incorrect, missing some lines that help to regulate pressure. Since it was so soon after the installation, I went back to Craig to get the work done right. The first tech had no clue what to do and said we might need to de-scale the unit (after less than 3 months?? typical is 1-2 years....). His supervisor came, talked to the manufacturer and ordered some replacement parts, which he then installed a few days later and still did not fix the issue.

After much hassle and back and forth, a few months later, they finally replaced the entire unit with a new model and I have hot water, which points to the fact that the original installation was bad, despite the fact that they said they had other installations that went bad and it might be a problem with the complex.

Awful customer service, no communication whatsoever, total lack of respect for my home or my schedule, and a seemingly huge lack of knowledge of what they were ""repairing"". I would strongly recommend finding someone else to call...save your time and money for elsewhere.
