From age five, I learned construction hands-on with my engineer father, tackling everything from roofing to custom electrical work. Post-Army, I studied to become an inspector but shifted to remodeling for greater creative and financial freedom. One homeowner’s remodel job changed my career path, and I’ve never regretted the switch.
