My Mom had booked an appointment for today the 11th of July last Friday. She was told the plumber would be here between 10am to 12pm. No one showed up at our house. Waited till 1:28pm to call CPI. Talked to the receptionist and she told me ""sorry yes I see you are on the schedule from 10am to 2pm. Let me talk to my manager and I will give you a call back"".). I was like why all of a sudden did they change the time? Called them back at 1:51pm cause I had not heard anything. Was told by another receptionist that ""yes I see you are on the schedule but our repair guy ran long at another job and he is now heading out to your place."". It would take him an hour or more to get to my place and they could have called to tell me that he was going to be late. Cancelled my appointment and went with another plumbing company. Will never use this plumbing company again since they can not keep their appointments straight and lack of communication with their customers,
Adani C.Set up an appointment weeks in advance... for early morning. So I canceled everything and was waiting for the plumber to come...half hour passed. I called the company and was told the serviceman had to go for urgent work... seriously? You wasted my whole day and you don't even inform me?
Anyways I rescheduled and what they quoted me was way overpriced and the serviceman just disappeared after I said the quote was pretty high.
Absolutely horrible company from my experience and many others.
Dana B.We experienced a serious septic malfunction and our usual septic man was unavailable. I suggested to my husband that we call CPI. They were able to come out same day.
Our technicians were Bob and Jordan. Although we liked both men equally, we observed Jordan literally dig a ditch to access the septic tank. We were very impressed with his diligence and strong effort. Both men were courteous and able to arrive immediately at a repair plan.
It only took the men a short time to diagnose and remedy the problem. The price was very competitive and the job professionally carried out.
Would highly recommend and definitely call again.
Amy C.So we haven't been able to use our kitchen sink and washing machine etc...we were going to have some ""help from friends"" etc... After thinking ""what are we thinking? Call a professional""... I called CPI. He was here within 5 minutes. Snaked the drain all the way to the septic and BAMN! SAM the man FIXED IT! Best money ever spent! And what a pleasant guy to help! THANK YOU CPI! We will DEFINITELY pass the word and refer the heck outta you guys! Amen!
Awful experience! Agreed to pay the service call fee for diagnosis at a rental property (which is applied if work is performed). They said the lines needed to be rootered, but they don't guarantee it, and they may break something, which they won't be responsible for. The estimate for this work was almost $850. For a single wide mobile! The next day, I crawled under the home, cut out a 10' section of drain pipe with a 90* bend, cleaned it out, reinstalled it, and I had 2 1/2 hours and $15 worth of parts invested. When I called their office to share my experience, they acted like it was no big deal. I feel sorry for those that don't know better, or don't have options, and use their service. I will be vocal about they way they do business!
Linda H.I am a renter and Sam L. Was awesome , honest and fixed my problems. Pretty spendy, but than again I wasn't paying ... clean, courteous and thanks Sam
As of yesterday, I have no hot water and no heat in my house (InFloor heat system). I called CPI because their sticker was affixed to the boiler in the house I bought two months ago. I spoke with Chelsea (who was very pleasant and polite). She said they had installed the system when the house was built and had done the maintenance since that time, but that the soonest they could get a boiler tech out to look at it was NEXT WEEK. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, CPI??? You installed the system, you have been responsible for the maintenance, and you cannot be bothered to even take a look at what might be wrong with it FOR A WEEK? Meanwhile, I have no hot water or heat... This is totally unacceptable.
NEVER use CPI Plumbing. Eric was the repair man they sent to repair our boiler and other problems that we were having with our system. He did repairs that were not needed and never fixed the problems that he was called for. He would find things that were expensive to fix and say they needed to be replaced. CPI over charges for their work. When we challenged them on the thousands of dollars of work they had done and that it still was not fixed, they informed us they could no longer do work or service our home anymore. They offer what they call Kelly's club, this is a total gimmick. They really are a horrible company that does not put customers first!
Stephanie K.CPI is the highest price outfit on the planet. The work is of satisfactory quality. They did install a special tankless water heater that uses a smaller diameter gas line that was existing. The one saving grace is if you purchase the membership it saves you a little.
Sam B.Henry from CPI has done great work every time he has answered our call. Today he worked on a leaky faucet, installing a wall based outlet for refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser, and redoing the seals on a shower. The faucet no longer leaks, the new wall outlet looks super slick, and the shower seal is the best one we've had. The work was not cheap, it was exceptional. Do it yourselfers, do it yourself. For the rest of us, CPI is a good call.
Bonus, just by working with Henry I learned how to repair a leaky faucet. I say working with him because he showed me the part I could purchase myself and bring in while he was working on other aspects of the job to evade an extra trip charge and huge delay. So if you watch a skilled plumber closely it adds value to the service charge.
Be aware: they are trained to offer more then is necessary for what you need. So make sure you are clear in what you really want or need and take the other offers or leave them. I found Henry to be honest in saying he could do more but based on my situation of selling my house soon probably not necessary (The wall based refrigerator dispenser water outlet was one offer which I accepted and think is really nice, while improvements to the bath tub and exterior hose outlet I chose to pass on).
Previous jobs he has done for us was install a new toilet, fix a dishwasher drain pipe, and clear blockages in the drain to the septic. All of his work has held up well in the just over a year since it was performed.
