My career in the trades began in 2006 when I was just 16. I completed four years of construction training, with a focus on plumbing during the last two.

In 2007 and 2008, I participated in SkillsUSA as a plumber. SkillsUSA is a contest for trades that highlights craftsmanship and community involvement. In 2007, I was recognized as the top plumber in California, leading to a national competition where I ranked 10th. In 2008, I returned and secured 1st place nationally, outpacing competitors from all states and bringing home gold for California in plumbing. The reward for my national victory included a full scholarship to WyoTech trade school, which I ultimately did not pursue, along with over $5,000 worth of plumbing tools. I immediately utilized those tools, starting my first job as a plumbing apprentice at 18.

After my apprenticeship, I worked for four plumbing companies throughout California, from the shores of San Luis Obispo to the chilly high desert of Susanville, and now I’ve settled in beautiful Chico for the last eight years. The extensive knowledge and experiences I have gained over 17 years of plumbing throughout our state are invaluable.

Now, I apply these skills, experiences, and insights to serve our community, delivering the finest plumbing service.
