When I called Courtesy Plumbing (again) today, and they asked if they had ever been out to my house before, I laughed, and then said, ""Oh, more times than I would like to admit."" As a foster parent for seven years, I cannot say the number of things that have been flushed down my toilets and dumped down the drains. Now, as a single mother of four, I seriously just expect that I will need to call them quarterly to come out to fix one thing or another.

This time? The twelve year old thought he was being helpful and in reality, just put a shot glass through the garbage disposal. Shockingly, a week later, I cannot get my sink to drain. Every time they come out, they are clean, efficient, and kind. Even before COVID, they took the time to wear booties in the house, and always left the place clean after a job. They are responsive and quick, and always polite. It's such a relief knowing they can come out and get the job done.

Our plumbing that connects to street became semi disconnected. The person who answers the phone told me that it would cost $5600. Then changed their mind and said $3600. I got it fixed by someone else for $1800. You give La Jolla address and they overcharge.

We had a toilet leaking. I looked at the Yelp reviews and called Courtesy. Although it wasn't an emergency, they sent someone out in 30 minutes! I had them replace some old valves on a sink while they were out here. Very professional and COVID safe the entire time. They communicated the issues well. An easy five stars.

Lou was awesome to work with! Showed up on time at the start of the time window, introduced himself and was super friendly and explained exactly what was going on and what he was doing. We figured out what the issue was with my tub fixtures hot water side, he fixed it, cleaned and resealed. Won't hesitate to use Courtesy and especially if I can get Lou on the next job.

I have had several plumbing issues over the past couple of years and have called on Courtesy Plumbing to help. They are great. Today, Lou helped us out and did an amazing job, including providing tips for the future. He gave an upfront and honest assessment that included pricing. We hoped for the easy way out, but once he was able to see the issue, we had a little more work to do. He again explained what he was going to do and took care of the repair quickly. When looking for a plumber, you want a company that is honest and reliable and that is what Courtesy has been for me. They do great work and stand behind it. We just purchased a home that didn't have a natural gas line in the kitchen. We wanted to run gas to the kitchen as well as fix some other minor plumbing issues in the home. Lou Wiley came out and was very professional. Throughout the process he answered all of our questions and explained everything clearly to us either in person, via text, phone calls; even FaceTime. His quote was very competitive and we scheduled work to begin about 2 weeks later.

Approximately a week after our initial estimate and meeting for the gas line work, the main water supply line to the house from the meter burst underground and began flooding a neighbor's yard. We called Courtesy Plumbing right away and they were able to dispatch Jason immediately after our leak detection service found the source of the leak. Jason was able to give us a quote right away for running a new supply line in a location that was more convenient for us and integrate it into the existing house plumbing. Jason was understanding of our urgent situation and was able to address all of our questions and concerns about the work. The leak happened on a Tuesday, and Jason and his partner Abraham were able to finish the new work by Friday afternoon. We can't even tell where they trenched the yard for the new line!

The following week, Lou, Joe, and Abraham came to address our previously discovered plumbing issues and run the new gas line. They completed the work in just a few hours and left the house just as tidy as it was when they arrived.

Everyone with whom we encountered at Courtesy Plumbing: Joanne (answering multiple calls at the main number), Lou, Joe, Jason, and Abraham were an excellent testament to the name and title of the company. We recommend Courtesy Plumbing without hesitation for any plumbing issues you may have.

Requested an estimate from Curtesy Plumbing on yelp and received a response right away. We scheduled an appointment for a plumber to come out and a day before the appointment, the office called and asked if I was interested in an earlier appointment since they had an opening. Within the hour, Abraham came knocking on the door.

I appreciated that Abraham placed booties on his shoes to keep our floors clean. He was professional and courteous, not to mention super knowledgeable about his work. He listened to all my concerns and made suggestions on what can be done to fix our shower. He took the time to clean up after the work was done. I could not have asked for a better plumber!!

I strongly recommend Curtesy Plumbing, they are very lucky to have Abraham working along side them.

Jason came out and helped us with with our shower faucet that was giving us a really hard time. He was out Friday morning but didn't have the right part at first (off-brand) but came back first thing Monday with the part in hand and was fortunately able to get a piece out that initially was stuck - saving us hundreds of dollars! We were very pleased with the ease of setting up the service and Jason's professional attitude and knowledge. He wore as mask the whole time, offer to wear booties in the house, and even gave our dog a pat on the head =) We would definitely recommend Courtesy Plumbing to others and we will be keeping their number handy for any future work.

If I could give them 6 stars I would!
A lot of homes built during the 80's in Scripps Ranch used ""blue pipe"" because it was supposed to be better than copper. It turned out to be a poor replacement. Manufacturing of blue pipe ended over a decade ago yet many of us have it as our main line from the sidewalk to the valve somewhere near our garage. Parts for this pipe are difficult to find. The first time I used Courtesy Plumbing was when Abraham had to replace the street connection two years ago. Sieg just replaced the house connection in the garage today. They both warned me that there is no guarantee that the blue pipe won't split somewhere in-between those two connections but I have decided to roll the dice since the true FIX is to replace all 60 feet of the blue pipe with copper. That would have entailed trenching 60+ feet from the sidewalk to the garage. They were both informative and very professional. The communication from the office and both plumbers was great. We have all experienced plumbers/contractors ""Upcharging"" us. Courtesy plumbing was transparent from the start with all the options and didn't try to push anything.

I was in the middle of selling my condo and a leak was discovered as soon as we opened escrow. I needed a plumber fast! I looked through some search results in yelp and liked the reviews I saw for these guys. I called them up and they got a plumber out the next day. My appointment was for mid-day, but they had something open up earlier and ended up getting the plumber to my place first thing in the morning. The plumber, Ryan, contacted me right away to confirm and clarify what areas needed attention. They got to work right away and did an outstanding job! They also provided a military discount, which I really appreciated! I would very enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone! I plan to use them exclusively for any future plumbing needs I may have.
