Angela S.Country Ways Plumbing is the definition of 5/5 stars. Professional, responsive, and honest.
We recently came across a cracked, leaking pipe in our basement. We contacted Country Ways and they responded within the hour to get us on the schedule. Two days later Patrick arrived to assess the situation. After working on it for a bit, he quickly realized it was more complex than he initially thought so he contacted Matt (the owner) to get his expert opinion before progressing forward. Matt quickly arrived and the project was completed within about an hour.
Both gentleman were polite, willing to answer any/all questions (and for a new homeowner - there were a lot!), and made us feel confident the problem was resolved. They also left the work area spotless. We highly recommend Country Ways Plumbing and they've definitely gained new customers for any future plumbing or heating needs.
Very glad we disregarded the 1 star review - it couldn't have been farther from the truth.
My neighbor recommended this company, I no longer take any recommendations from this neighbor. I tried to stick with someone local and really regretted it. The guy who owns? this company Matt was just a complete incompetent, rude, dishonest tool. I couldn't wait for him to leave my home. Thankfully another neighbor recommended a really good contractor who came and did the work needed. Don't use this guy, bad news, don't let him in your house especially if you are alone.
We have had several experiences with plumbers who were unreliable and/or prices were outrageous. Mat came when he said he would, gave us his honest opinion, and price was very reasonable. He is kind and professional, and we are relieved we have finally found our go-to plumber!
Had a problem with 30+year old toilet. Called Rob early PM and he and his helper were here before dinner. Next morning, 9AM they arrived to install a new toilet. Smooth as silk. Very professional and reliable.
I had all the cast iron pipes replaced. Also work in the bathrooms was done. Matt did a fantastic job and took his time to explain what was needed. Both Matt and Jeff were very helpful!!
I have requested Country Ways P&H assistance with our older home in town since we moved to town over 30 years ago. Jeff Gray and his team have been able to solve any P&H challenge in our home that was presented to them. Beyond solving and/or fixing our P&H challenges Country Ways personnel have been professional, on time, reasonably priced and provided varied suggestions on how to address possible related issues that we could do to help maximize the life of our Plumbing and Heating system--minimizing emergency calls or damaging issues in the future. I have recommended Country Ways to neighbors, friends and family members in the area as I am confident that Jeff Gray will provide them with their best resolution for their challenge now and in the future

I work for a private school and have run into a good amount of plumbing issues in my time here. Country ways was recommended to me by another contractor during a plumbing emergency when a pipe fitting burst and flooded the first floor of one of our buildings. After explaining the situation to owner Jeff Grey he immediately sent his son Mat over to help. I was very impressed with there expertise and prompt service. Every time I call they make it a priority to get someone over as soon as possible. They've done work for us on small issues like replacing a toilet valve to large ones like replacing a sewage ejector pump. I highly recommend Country Ways Plumbing to everyone I know wether it's new construction or replacing/fixing old plumbing.
We own a 300+ year old house and had a hot water pipe crack during the cold snap. We called Jeff Gray, the owner and he came over on a Sunday to determine the damage. The following day he returned with a carpenter and got us up and running again. The bathroom floor had to be removed to expose the pipe, etc. Jeff is familiar with old houses and the hundreds of years of DIY projects from former owners. He devised a great plan to fix our issue and did it with a very positive attitude under trying circumstances. I would highly recommend him. We are very lucky to have found him.
Bernard K.Matt was a subcontractor to our recent bathroom renovation (Spring 2015). He completed the new construction work on time but more importantly, he inspected all of the old plumbing with his scope and he gave me his objective opinion on whether or not old plumbing should be replaced while the floor was opened and available (before tile work).
He works well with my contractor and EXPLAINS things really well to me. Matt speaks no bull crap. Overall, he is a quality person who does sound work at a fair price.
