I called this plumber based on good reviews but feel compelled to share my experience so others can consider when looking for a plumber. I have a vacation property south of Ione and discovered a line break in our outbuilding that has a shower, toilet, kitchen sink and washer/dryer. This happened on Memorial Day weekend. I called Country Plumbing on May 28 and 29. I described the situation and he asked me to send a text with the information and he would check his schedule. I sent the text with the location and asked if he could come out the following Monday when I was off of work and could make the 1h40m drive up. I did not hear back if he was available but on Monday morning got a call and said he was about to head my way. I said you never confirmed and I am in Spokane so can't make it . I asked about the following Monday, now June 10 and he said okay. I realized my parents were staying with us then so texted on June 4 if we could move the appointment to July 1. He texted back that that works (I still would have gone up on the 10th if that didn't work for him). June 10 comes and I get a call saying he is about to head my way. I reminded him that we rescheduled for July 1 and he says something about not having his phone to change the appointment but will put the July 1 date in now. July 1 comes and I call at 7:30 in the morning to confirm he is still coming and he says he had to replace his phone and lost all his appointments but was on another job that morning in Colville so couldn't make it. Now I can't get another plumber in time for July 4 when we had people scheduled to come out for the holiday. You make the decision if this is the type of person you want for your plumbing needs.

Jon responded to our phone call as quickly as he was able due to the cell reception in the area, made it to our house in the time frame given, was very friendly, very knowledgeable about his job and what was needed to do the job he was called about, was very reasonable on the estimate given, was able to complete the project at the time he was there, performed the job quickly and informed us of everything he was doing to make sure we knew what was going on and made sure that everything was cleaned up at the end of the job. Would recommend him for any job that you have!

When you live in the PNW, water leaks in the middle of winter can be a bad thing. We had a leak in one of our outdoor spigots - enough that it was making a pretty spectacular ""ice sculpture"" on the lower deck. I called Country Plumbing to request service. Jon was able to come out that evening, rebuild the gaskets on the spigot and stop the leak.

He and his son were efficient, professional and very courteous throughout the whole process. His quote was quite reasonable for the prompt response we got. I can't say enough good things about them. If you need a plumber in Stevens County, Jon Sully and Country Plumbing is who to call.
