Requested repiping of old copper pipes inside walls with pex. Received a prompt call back after I left a message inquiring about a service visit, quick scheduling of inspection/estimate and service. The plumbers kept the work areas cleaned up, they were thorough and also nice. Pricing was excellent. Will definitely call back for any plumbing needs.

I had a leak in my bathtub area and called Cottrell and Co. for an estimate. I chose them because they were offering a free estimate and had pretty good reviews on Angie's List. They responded to my PM pretty quickly and we set up an appointment for a few days later. The gentleman that showed up was Josh and he was the lead master plumber for the company. He was very professional and polite and explained what the problem was with my bathtub and scheduled an appointment for a few days later to repair the issue. I was very impressed with Josh and as my first contact with the company, left a very positive impression on me. This morning, I received a phone call from Joseph telling me about what time he would be arriving. He was, just like Josh, very polite on the phone. He arrived with a partner (sorry, I already forgot his name!) and they both removed their shoes and entered my house. They looked at the problem and immediately went to work. They were both extremely polite and had the job done in less than an hour. I am very satisfied with my experience with Cottrell and Co. and am happy to have the number for a company that is trustworthy and good at what they do. If I ever have any other plumbing issues, I will not hesitate to call on this company.

I've had these guys to my house three times, once each for the heater, the A/C, and the water heater. Each time was a no-nonsense fix that was resolved on the first visit. Mr. Chong Kim in particular has proven to be efficient and reliable in all things HVAC. If you're looking for a local technician in the Lexington area, look no further.

I had a bad pressure reducer item, which I installed myself several years back. I decided that I would remove it and go without one. Well, I got it patched, but it leaked. I decided that I should get a pro. I called for service on a Saturday morning. They came out and verified that my water pressure without the pressure reducer was required. It was at 125 and should be at 75. They put everything in and fine tuned the pressure reducer to be exactly 75. On Sunday, I noticed that the box that houses the pressure reducer was full of water. It had rain that day, but I thought it did not seem right. I shop vac the water out and water came back in. I called to report the issue. They had me check the meter and it showed no leaks. Without a charge they came out Monday morning to verify that everything was correct. It turns out that the rain and the previous leak saturated the ground. They took the extra step to make sure everything was done right. I hated spending the money to have a pro do something I should have been able to do, but the peace of mind has made it worth the money. Thank you.

During a weekend plumbing emergency Roy was very efficient, courteous, and professional. Problem was completely resolved and there were no attempts to sell me on any other services. I will not hesitate to call them first when the need arises. Highly recommend!
