Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. They initially used two trucks to deliver kerosene, known back then as ""range oil."" Back then, customers were charged eight cents for each gallon. Thanks to their perseverance, they grew the business in 1953 by establishing an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. As we stay current with market developments and advanced technology, we will never lose sight of our beginnings or the beliefs that shaped our company.
