Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. They initially used two trucks to deliver kerosene, known back then as ""range oil."" At that time, the cost for customers was eight cents per gallon. Thanks to their perseverance, they grew the business in 1953 by establishing an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, with over 75 years of experience and three generations of family involvement, Cota & Cota is a leader in the heating industry. As we adapt to market trends and embrace innovative technology, we remain grounded in our origins and the principles that founded our company. Sean C.Called to arrange a plumbing installation estimate and they informed me they only do plumbing work for their own existing customers. To have them do an estimate they wanted me to switch my heating service to them. Their website does not say this anywhere! Very disappointed.
Andy S.This company is awesome. I hired an electrician to install a generator at my mum's house, they told me they had lots of experience. Long story short, when Cota & Cota showed up to install the gas lines they said it was too close to the house. I checked the building codes and they were right AND fixed it for me. But the story does not end there. The next year the generator stoped working. They figured out what was wrong with it AND it was a manufacturing problem with the generator. So they got it sent off to get fixed under warranty. I really should have had them install the generator in the first place! Excellent service for the 9 years since then! Ya it took me a while to wire this review. The generator was installed in 2010.
