Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. With a pair of trucks, they began delivering kerosene, which was commonly called ""range oil"" at the time. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Thanks to their perseverance, they grew the business in 1953 by establishing an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. More than 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota is a leader in the heating industry. As we stay current with market developments and innovative technology, we hold onto our foundational beliefs and history.
