On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran the business from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. Initially, they had two trucks for delivering kerosene, referred to as ""range oil"" in those times. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. While we keep pace with industry trends and innovative technology, we never forget our beginnings and the principles that guide us. Our Vermont heritage is a source of pride, and we value the trust you place in us. We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best service in the industry, without question.
