Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. With just two trucks, they provided kerosene, which was called ""range oil"" at the time. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, after more than 75 years and three generations, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. As we adapt to market trends and embrace new technologies, we remain grounded in our origins and core values. Our Vermont roots are a source of pride, and we value the trust you place in us.
