Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was run by Ken and Helen Cota from one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Their operation began with two trucks that supplied kerosene, or ""range oil,"" as it was called then. At that time, the cost for customers was eight cents per gallon. Thanks to their perseverance, they grew the business in 1953 by establishing an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. As we adapt to market trends and embrace new technologies, we remain grounded in our origins and the principles that founded our company.
