On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran the business from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. With a pair of trucks, they began delivering kerosene, which was commonly called ""range oil"" at the time. Back then, customers were charged eight cents for each gallon. Thanks to their perseverance, they grew the business in 1953 by establishing an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. While we keep pace with industry trends and cutting-edge technology, we will always honor our roots and the values that established our business.
