Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. With a pair of trucks, they began delivering kerosene, which was commonly called ""range oil"" at the time. Back then, customers were charged eight cents for each gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. More than 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota is a leader in the heating industry. While we keep pace with industry trends and cutting-edge technology, we never forget our roots and the principles that founded our company.
