Cota & Cota began on May 1, 1941, when Ken and Helen Cota operated the business from one of Vermont's first 24-hour gas stations. They started with two trucks to deliver kerosene, known as ""range oil"" back then. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. While we keep pace with industry trends and innovative technology, we never forget our beginnings and the principles that guide us.
