Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was run by Ken and Helen Cota from one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Initially, they had two trucks for delivering kerosene, which was referred to as ""range oil"" at the time. At that time, the cost for customers was eight cents per gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. As we stay current with market developments and innovative technology, we will never forget our beginnings or the core beliefs that shaped our company.
