Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was run by Ken and Helen Cota from one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Their operation began with two trucks that supplied kerosene, or ""range oil,"" as it was called then. Customers were charged eight cents per gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. While we keep pace with industry trends and cutting-edge technology, we will always honor our roots and the values that established our business.
