Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was run by Ken and Helen Cota from one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Their operation began with two trucks that supplied kerosene, or ""range oil,"" as it was called then. Customers were charged eight cents per gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, with over 75 years of experience and three generations of family involvement, Cota & Cota is a leader in the heating industry. As we stay current with market developments and innovative technology, we will never forget our beginnings or the core beliefs that shaped our company.
