On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran it from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. They launched with two trucks to deliver kerosene, known then as ""range oil."" Customers were charged eight cents per gallon. Their hard work and determination led to success, and by 1953, they expanded to an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, after over 75 years and three generations, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. As we stay current with market developments and cutting-edge technology, we hold onto our roots and the values that shaped our company. We are proud of our Vermont roots and the trust we have built with our customers. We are dedicated to providing our customers with the finest service in the industry, without question.
