On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran it from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. Initially, they used two trucks to supply kerosene, referred to as ""range oil"" back then. Back then, customers paid eight cents for each gallon. Through dedication and effort, they thrived, and in 1953, they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, with more than 75 years and three generations behind us, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. While we keep pace with industry trends and innovative technologies, we never forget our beginnings and the principles that guide us.
