On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran the business from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. They initially used two trucks to deliver kerosene, known back then as ""range oil."" Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, with over 75 years of experience and three generations, Cota & Cota is a leader in the heating industry. As we adapt to market trends and embrace innovative technology, we remain grounded in our origins and core values. Our Vermont heritage is a source of pride, and we value the trust you place in us.
