On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran it from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. They launched with two trucks to deliver kerosene, known then as ""range oil."" The price for customers was eight cents per gallon. Through dedication and effort, they thrived, and in 1953, they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, with more than 75 years and three generations behind us, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. As we adapt to market changes and embrace new technologies, we remain grounded in our origins and core values. We are proud of our Vermont roots and the trust we have built with our customers.
