On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran the business from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. With just two trucks, they provided kerosene, which was called ""range oil"" at the time. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, after more than 75 years and three generations, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. As we stay current with market developments and advanced technology, we hold onto our roots and the values that shaped our company.
