On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran the business from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. They initially used two trucks to deliver kerosene, known back then as ""range oil."" At that time, the cost for customers was eight cents per gallon. Thanks to their perseverance, they grew the business in 1953 by establishing an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. As we adapt to market trends and embrace innovative technology, we remain grounded in our origins and core values. Our Vermont heritage is a source of pride, and we value the trust you place in us.
