Gary is a an expert plumber. Very knowledgeable and experienced. I can tell he has seen it all and knows how to fix anything. We originally contacted Gary to help us figure out if we should install a new hot water heater or go tankless. He explained the pros and cons very clearly and helped us make an informed decision.

One month later we were demoing concrete in our backyard and our main water line and sewer pipes were damaged. We called Gary and he came right away to start fixing the damage. Because our pipes were in such poor condition, we decided to replace all of them with new copper pipes. We needed the work done immediately. Gary cleared his schedule and started working on our project. He finished it right away without taking breaks in between workdays.

Gary redid the entire plumbing of my 1922 home, which was a mix of galvanized and old copper. He worked with us in terms of budget and timing the project with our travel needs. Called a few plumbers for prices, most were $200 and up just to look at our clogged tub. One guy tried to fix it but the tub required more work and I was quoted a high price so I declined. Saw Gary's ad on yelp had a few good reviews and for good reason. Gary was fast, polite, easy to communicate with and get in touch with, on top of being less expensive then competitors in the area. Hands down Costellos Plumbing was the best. Had a leaky shower and within minutes of emailing him, he responded. When he came over he assessed, presented options and was clear in all his explanations. I appreciated his efficiency and professionalism. I am not one who writes reviews but Gary of Costellos Plumbing was so great that I wanted to write one for them. My husband tried to fix a leaking shower and instead of fixing it he broke the entire shower system. Other plumber quotes were much higher and much more invasive of a fix (tile repare, etc). Gary's fix was cheaper and his solve had no extra tile work for us. He was on time, very nice and informative with what he was going to do which I appreciated. The shower is fixed, it looks great and we won't have to do any follow up repair. I would highly recommend Costello Plumbing and will definitely use them again in the future.

I am not one to frequently write reviews. However my experience with Gary and Joseph of Costellos Plumbing was exceptional. These two worked relentlessly to solve our two persistently leaky vanity sinks/drains. On three separate occasions Gary and Joseph came out to our residence to address and re-address the same problem, each day professionally and courteously whittling away towards an ultimate solution. Today, for the first day, there is no evidence of a leak!

I cannot recommend Costellos Plumbing highly enough. Gary and his team are skillful, dedicated and responsive. Thank goodness for Gary. We had a kitchen clog that backed up into our tub. Older home and multiple plumbing issues required immediate action. Gary was quick to respond and managed to resolve our clogged tub to satisfaction. We have a good working plan on replacing and upgrading our kitchen sink thanks to Gary. We are looking forward to having him put in our future sink and water filter.

As a new owner of a very old home, as you can imagine, I've encountered a few surprises that have needed professional attention. Gary Costello has helped me with several plumbing issues over the past year and has always provided excellent, prompt, reasonably-priced service. For example, I contacted Gary this morning about a plumbing problem - he called me right away and explained three possible ways he could fix the problem, and what each possible fix would cost. He arrived on time, explained what he discovered, fixed the problem, and charged me exactly what he estimated on the phone. Previously, Gary fixed a problem with my kitchen sink that saved me from having to buy a new fixture that would have cost hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars! I will always call Gary in the future for jobs large and small, and recommend him without hesitation.
