If I could give a zero rating I would. Knew Guil from high school and couple years ago gave him a shot with a client that was selling. He left a huge mess and never finished the job. I had to reimburse my clients for the money he stole from
Them AND pay for someone to clean up Guils mess and finish the job.

Not even a year ago a friend gave him a shot and was screwed. Then I found out yesterday he stole $4,000 from a friend who hired him to do a kitchen remodel and he's ghosted.

Guil is trash.

Mr. Costa came to us highly recommended by a neighbor. We even saw his work and it looked amazing. We hired him to install a pocket door and to flip a closet door frame. He was very communicative.... right up until we paid him the deposit. After paying him, he disappeared. He no longer responds to email, text, or phone calls and has even declined to refund our deposit through Venmo. We've tried for a month and cannot reach him. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend him.

Guil, I'm open to amending this review if you simply return our $832.50.

Guil was not a man of his word. He did a very poor job on our bathroom and never came back and finished what he said he would. Tiles are uneven in shower and floor. Had to repaint what he messed up. No attention to detail. Avoided my calls at the end of the project. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Stay away!

Seemed like Guil was going to be great. He had 4 weeks to complete work in our condo before we moved in. He waited until the last 10 days and was still working 4 weeks after we moved in.
He rebuilt our master bathroom (took it down to the studs) and now the grout is cracking and the tiles were never even, just to give you an idea of his craftsmanship).
Said he was licensed and insured but now that we have reached out because his work is crumbling, suddenly no response. Looked up to get his license number and he's not listed in DC, VA or WVA.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - not worth the headache and poor work.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE & EXCELLENT WORK!! I reached out to owner Guil Costa very last minute yesterday after hearing great things from friends and seeing their site on Facebook. My issues involved the guest bedroom plumbing and hot water. Not only did Guil make himself available that evening at my convenience (after hours and after a full day of work), but he also offered to come on the weekend or another time that best worked for me - talk about customer service! Guil was quick, efficient, affordable, and most importantly - able to identify the problem and fix it (unlike others who had me paying for and replacing unrelated parts). Guil explained to me what was wrong, why, and how to avoid this issue in the future. He even took the time, at my request, to assess the master bathroom and give me a quote on remodeling. I will absolutely be hiring Costa Plumbing & Remodeling for the bathroom remodel and will be sure to post before & after pictures!
