Do not do business with this company!! They are very dishonest and overpriced and do work that is not necessary. We found out the hard way that he ripped us off. My advice deal with the bigger companies - Just because this guy is a local in Gridley does not mean he will be fair! He will take advantage of his neighbors and sleep well every night - I'm sure he has done this over and over again.

My husband called cost u less to come scope our pipes it cost $200. The guy showed up 45 mins late, he did call to say he would be late so I could give them a pass for that. He told us the blockage was due to the roots from our bush, it was not. But we didn't find that out until after we tore it out which cost us another $100 and our bush that we did not want removed. They were supposed to come out and do a follow up scope for free and never showed up. My husband called to ask why and the receptionist said she wrote it done wrong and apologized. She said she would schedule someone to come the next day for the follow up and they didn't show up. This is the worst service I have ever encountered. The owner of this company should think about getting some employees who can do their jobs right. I will never use this company again.

Their local phone book ad says $59 for drain cleaning through a clean out. I phoned and confirmed with the lady the price and then she called me back and said that ""since the owner was out of town until next week their worker charges an extra $20 to come to Sutter. That is NOT in the ad and that is NOT what the lady told me when I first called. I hope the owner would never tolerate this type of service if he were in town!! I instead am using Thrifty Rooter whom I highly recommend. Their number is 673-8201 and they have custom service 100% better than Cost U Less Plumbing. I will be making sure that all of my friends, family, and neighbors NEVER use Cost U Less!!
