Every time I call this man he's too busy to come out and doesn't even provide open times or when he will be available.. I'll stop calling for your service...if someone was trying to pay me I would find an employee to send my customers way. Cory's Plumbing fixed my water heater. I called him on a Thursday afternoon when the water heater stopped working. He come over about 3:00 pm. He diagnosed the problem (a broken element on the burner assembly) and left to buy the part. I later found the part available on Amazon for about $30. No problem. He fixed the water heater and charged me about $100 for labor.

We've used Cory's Plumbing twice and both times he did quality work quickly. The best part is his prices are reasonable. A service call is only $95, compared to Johnson's Plumbing in Merced, which was $150. The first time was our bathtub was clogged beyond normal means of repair and the second time was on a Saturday morning for a cracked pvc pipe off our main line coming into the house. He's an old school, salty guy but you he has a good heart and will work with you on the price. The first time I think we paid him what we could and then paid him the rest when the funds became available. His son also helps him on jobs.

I too own several rental properties in Merced, CA. I have used Cory for so many things including a total rebuild of a bathroom in one of my houses. He is far more than a plumber - he is highly skilled in all aspects of plumbing of course but he is expert in many trades including framing, electrical, finish work, painting, and so much more. More important than all of that skill though is Cory's attention to his Customers. As a ""remote"" landlord living in Gilroy, CA, I depend on Cory to not only do the required work but to coordinate with tenants, work cleanly, and charge a very fair price.

Lest one thinks Cory is only good for rental properties, I can say unequivocally that I would have him work in my personal residence anytime (if I could get him to come to Gilroy!). Cory is a rare contractor who is diligent, knowledgeable, deeply experienced, approachable and dead honest. He is a gem - anyone would be fortunate to have him work for them. Thanks Cory!!

Cory was fast, efficient and very helpful. I rent a house in Merced and was in need of a plumber because of an outdoor broken pipe that was leaking. The leak was so bad it was getting into the house. Cory was able to be at the house, assess the problem and fix it in less than 24 hours at a very very good price. Needless to say, I think he is the best person to go to and will go to him again for any future plumbing needs.
