Our a/c wasn't cooling very well during this heat wave. Wayne came out right on time and performed an overall inspection of both our compressors. He didn't want to mess with one as the base was rusting out (it is not on an above ground slab). He did not try to sell me a new unit! Instead, he said let's just watch and wait, as it might last 5 more years. Both compressors needed a bit of Freon as they have not been serviced since we moved in over 10 years ago (and maybe never). Wayne gave me some helpful hints on how to keep the units operating effectively. He did not try to sell me anything, which I really appreciated. Great service. Will definitely call them again.

When I used to live in Torrance we used Cornett to fix our HVAC issues.
Over the years we had 2~3 different guys come and fix our A/C & Heater, but I remember there was this one chubby dude (forgot his name) that came when our A/C was broken.
The dude was seriously genuinely nice and was super patient with me. I'm like super ignorant about this so I asked him like 9284935 questions, he didn't seem irritated and answered every single question. Cornett's getting 5 stars cause of him.

Cornett installed my furnace in 2001 and a few water heaters over the past 20+ years. I purchased a new thermostat that required a common 24VAC. They gave me instructions on where to tap into it on the furnace circuit board rather than come out and charge me for a service call. You guys are the greatest!!!

Amazing service!!! First time customer based on yelp reviews. They sent Roger the plumber out to fix my drain stoppage and found the source all on the same day. The pricing was average but he was very honest and I didn't feel like he was trying to make a buck off me. He was very professional too. He showed up on time and smelled good...lol. I don't understand why they a couple bad reviews which I think were either fake or are from very ""anal"" customers. Thanks again for all your help. I will be referring you guys.

Amazing, same day service. The garbage disposal on my sink was not working properly so I called this company my mother recommended to me. They dispatched Edwin within the hour and I am so grateful because it was a dime that was caught in my machine! Edwin was supposed to charge me for the service/consultation but he felt bad because all he did was remove the object and reset the disposal. I hope this review doesn't get him in trouble for not charging me- but I am VERY impressed with the speed, professionalism, and knowledge shown by the company and Edwin. My disposal is working fine now thanks to Cornett! Definitely will use in the future and recommend to family and friends!

Poor front desk support. I made my appointment 2 weeks ago based on Yelp reviews. I called their office yesterday to reconfirm my appointment for 8-10:00 window and asked for the early part of the window but was declined and was offered an appointment for another day. I told the woman that I took the day off for this appointment so I will keep it. I received a voicemail at 9:00 this morning requesting to reconfirm appointment. I didn't have my cell phone close by to hear it ring. At 9:15, I called the office and was told that since I could not be reached, the technician skipped me and went to another job. Office lady said she usually tells people about this procedure. She didn't inform me when I called to make the appointment and she didn't inform me when I called to reconfirm yesterday. Actually, she was rather unprofessional and condescending when I called yesterday stating I wanted to reconfirm my appointment. I was waiting for her to respond by asking for my info but instead she started laughing and said HELLO? HELLO? I need your name... WTH? Rather than wasting more time dealing with this woman and spending my money here, I made an appointment with another heating company based on Yelp reviews. They are not the only ones working with a schedule.

Please support this local, family run business!!! I have used Cornett's services twice in three months - both were for problems with my parents' heaters. On both occassions the service provided by Cornett was first rate from the person answering the phones and scheduling the appointments to the people sent out to our home. We have worked with Dave and Wayne - both very professional and friendly! On both occassions Dave and Wayne took a lot of time providing me with information, explaning what the possible problems were, and provided me with the most simple and most affordable repair option FIRST(wow what a difference from those news stories you always see about repair companies ripping consumers off!).

Great experience using this company and they are definitely my ""go-to"" for heating problems.

I've used Cornett for the past 5 years while I was renting out my house in Torrance, and could always count on them to be quick, efficient and reasonable. Wish I had found them while I was still living there! Now I'm selling and needed some work to fix up the plumbing. Roger came, installed new kitchen and shower fixtures. He saw one part for the tub was the wrong brand, so went to the supply house and brought back the right one. How many people would do that?? He had to come back the following morning, turned up on time and worked unsupervised to finish the job, then called me to review what he had done. I will strongly recommend them to the buyers.

Imagine Christmas Day stepping down on a wet carpet...I called and left a message with Cornett to come as soon as they could. The next day, Dale,""boss "" showed up himself, as a worker had been ill and they were short handed. Dale was professional, friendly and used his leak detector to locate our leak. His very efficient and qualified workers arrived the next day jack hammering up our concrete slab, and repaired the leaking pipe. We were very pleased with their excellent work, cleaned up the place, and the bill was less than Dale had estimated...We will most assuredly use Cornett with any future plumbing problems
