I reached out to Cornerstone recently for a water issue in my basement. Mike responded right away, came over as soon as he could and assessed the situation. He is super friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Not to mention, he is much braver than I when dealing with cave crickets.

He explained what the issue was, and provided a proposal for a solution. I am pretty handy myself, I do a lot of my own plumbing and electric, and everything he stated made perfect sense. By the next morning, he provided me with an estimate. I was blown away with how fair his prices are. I agreed, and he came over immediately and did the work. He did a great job, and everything was to code.

As a result, I will be using him again in the future for some other projects I have.

Definitely recommended, Cornerstone is solid.

Big shout out to Michael, owner of Cornerstone Plumbing and Heating! He came to our home to make repairs to our hot water heater, and he and his assistant were top notch! Professional, communicative, cleaned up after themselves and reasonably priced. I love nothing more than to support local business, and based on the service we received, we will be repeat customers!!

While I love supporting our local businesses, I feel I have to push this review down a notch or two in retrospect. While older parts were replaced on the boiler, ultimately the main problem was never resolved and was required to be completed by another company, sadly.

Unlike some others, not a good experience with Mike from Cornerstone. Got stood up twice on separate days even w 8am appointments and after confirming w him the night before. He even knew I had gone out to buy the fixtures he'd be installing the day before. Selected him based on recs from this app and others. Wanted to support a local resident and business, but came away highly disappointed. Similar reviews have been posted on Yelp so it seems to be a pattern with him.

We made childcare arrangements, took a day off from work and had Cornerstone Plumbing all scheduled to come to our house. He texted an hour before he was suppose to be here to cancel when he knew we had a deadline and had to get it done that day. He also said he was going to send a quote and never did. We had to follow up with him for it. This guy is completely irresponsible and has no idea how to run a business. Do yourself a favor and find a responsible plumber who shows up when they say they are going to. Clearly this is a pattern for him because another person on Google reviews said be stood them up as well.

Mike from Cornerstone Plumbing is efficient, courteous and clean. He does excellent work and likes to tackle a problem and find a solution. Mike was recommended to me by another plumber who was not taking new clients - when one plumber recommends another, that's solid. Mike did not disappoint. I am delighted to be on his list of regular clients now and will call on him for any future plumbing problems.

Mike from Cornerstone Plumbing is a real find in this area of New Jersey for three reasons: first, he is honest and thorough. Did not try and talk is into any additional projects. Secondly his prices are reasonable and fair. And last but not least, he and his wife- who answers the phone- made sure to get back to me quickly to put me on the schedule.
I would highly recommend Cornerstone Plumbing.
UPDATE: after our initial visit, I wasn't able to get a return call or appointment for another job. Very disappointed.

On a holiday weekend we were fortunate enough to have been told about Mike from Cornerstone Plumbing. He fit us in after a full day of working in the freezing weather and didn't leave until we had hot water.He stayed till 4 am . We highly recommend him . He was extremely knowledgeable polite and someone you feel comfortable with in your home.My husband said you only become a Master Plumber because you are highly skilled. I agree..I would give him more stars but they only allow 5 :)

The owner Michael will find the most expensive way to NOT fix your plumbing problem. Then when you call for follow-up he won't bother calling you back. I'm embarrassed I got sucked into paying about $1000 to fix a leaky shower. All it needed was a replacement of the shower head.
Run away.
