Mark came out to fix my dripping shower faucet. He arrived 15 minutes late. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He said his work van was in the shop getting new brakes so he didn't have all his supplies with him. He quickly diagnosed the problem and said he had to go get the part. He stated ""it'll only take a few minutes, it's just 6 miles away."" He returned one hour later with the part. The repair was completed in 10 minutes. The bill he gave me had one amount, the total ($298.89). No indication of how much labor, parts, tax, etc. I called the office and asked for an itemized bill. One week later I received a bill that listed 1.52 hours of labor and $72.00 for parts. He was at my house for 20 minutes!!! I called him for an explanation and he could not explain why I was charged for 1.52 hours. His explanation made no sense. At one point he said he had come from Windsor (or somewhere); why do I care where he came from? He denied charging me for the hour that he left my home to get a part. He said he used to give out itemized bills but found his customers preferred to have one total price on their bills. REALLY??? He must think I am really stupid if I believe that. Since then I have spoken with two separate repair people who both confirmed he ripped me off. Such poor work ethic, don't trust him. He'll act nice and friendly and will do your repair, but if he thinks he can take advantage of you, HE WILL. After being in business ""since the 70's"" you'd think he wouldn't be able to sleep at night after ripping people off. Apparently he has no conscious.

I will not use this business again and would caution you about doing business with them. I was overcharged and have yet to receive an itemized bill. The handwritten invoice I received stated ""service call, parts, and materials $298.89""
My check was cashed immediately. It's been a week and I have not heard from them nor have I received an itemized bill. The plumber left my home to get a part stating it wouldn't take long (""only 6 miles away"") and returned one hour later, which caused me to be late for a commitment. Since they have not responded to my reasonable request, I am sorry I didn't question the bill before writing a check.
