I had two projects in my home that required a handyman. I contacted Mike and we set up a time for him to do the work. I had never met him but he was referred to me on Nextdoor. Am I ever glad I hired him! He came in and got right to work installing a doggie door flap and problem solving and then repairing a part of my wood floor. He takes pride in his work and does not leave a mess. His rates are reasonable and fair. He is also a very nice person. I have already shared his contact info with friends and neighbors. I highly recommend Copper State Home Maintenance!

We've had Mike out a few times! All sorts of different projects and types of work and it was all done quickly and done well! Super easy to get in touch and he actually comes when he says he will! Definitely making my next list for him!

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, hardly ever actually. However, I felt it was extremely important for people in search of a handyman to be forewarned. First of all, I do want to start by saying that Mike is good at what he does, so that was not the issue. The issue was his RUDE and crappy attitude! He is short, condescending, and has very little patience. He also has very poor communication skills, and overall I have to agree with his other reviewer that gave him a 1 star. He doesn't seem like he enjoys what he does at all, and is very unpleasant to have in your home. There are so many beautiful, kind, compassionate humans out there, and plenty of handymen (that are way less expensive) that do a fantastic job without the attitude. Do yourself a favor and don't waste a minute of your energy on this guy!

I did an entire 1930 historic house overhaul and rehabilitation with Mike and his work was always outstanding. With this type of undertaking we ran into MANY unforeseen challenges, but each time Mike called me with at least two viable solutions and ways to keep the project moving forward. He didn't just text me a photo and ask me what I thought we should do. With extended projects like this there has to be patience and communication from both parties and Mike was very good with this. He understood the goals of what I wanted the house to look like and he took pride in providing that level of service and workmanship.

If you want a $60 repair, Mike isn't your guy, take your fake feeling of entitlement and importance somewhere cheaper. If you want quality work and a handyman who treats your home like his own....hire Mike and sleep better at night.

I contacted mike after Response Crew poorly hung a wall mounted entertainment center in my apartment. It ripped out of the dry wall and came crashing down ruining many valuables. Unlike the handyman with Response Crew, mike came in, did what needed to be done to fix the issue , got it hung properly, and left! And it was CHEAPER than the previous company who tried running the clock to get more money out of me. I paid half of what I paid the first time to get the job done right. Also, since he charges by the hour, he even asked if there was anything else that I needed done before he left since my task hadn't taken the full hour! Don't make the same mistake I did and go straight to Mike!! He is friendly, fair, and efficient. Thanks mike!!

Very pleased with our service from Copper State. Technicians were not only very helpful but some of the most respectful men I have ever met. Marco in particular assisted us with replacing tiles and fixing damage and was AMAZING! Definitely would recommend his service to future clients. Company completes work in a time efficient manner and considers the clients work schedule, family schedule etc.
