Mike Copp, a resident of Rockport, founded Copp Home Improvement to enable his friends, neighbors, and community to enjoy their weekends again. Copp provides expert assistance with a range of home projects, including painting, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, lawn care, and property management. His expertise extends to residential and commercial clients, supported by years of experience with property management firms where he established solid connections.

Mike is both licensed and insured to provide services in the state of Massachusetts. No matter what you require, Copp can take care of it.

Since childhood, I’ve been mechanically inclined, often frustrating my parents by disassembling my toys (and anything else I could get my hands on) to learn how they functioned instead of merely playing with them. Years ago, when I was hired by my city’s Buildings Maintenance department, I knew I had discovered my passion.

My inherent mechanical curiosity and relentless desire to learn enabled me to sharpen my skills rapidly, eventually becoming Head Maintenance Engineer, where I excelled.

I have led numerous maintenance departments for various property management companies, aiding them in restructuring their operations and improving tenant/landlord relations through enhanced communication, organized work orders, preventative maintenance, and issue resolution.

Recently, with the encouragement of my wonderful family, I pursued my dream of starting my own business, leading to the creation of Copp Home Improvement.

Every task I take on is grounded in a lifetime of experience and a true passion for my craft.

Since 2019, I have proudly served residential and commercial clients in Rockport and the Cape Ann region. With 30 years of overall experience in property maintenance and repair, my aim is to deliver excellence in all handyman services, from minor tasks to large projects, by providing prompt, high-quality workmanship at competitive prices.
