I needed my kitchen faucet tightened and knobs added to the two outdoor spickets. After waiting 5.5 hours for them to show up, I received a text asking if I could reschedule. I agreed to reschedule for several days later but was a bit irritated at wasting a whole day waiting on them. The same thing happened with the second scheduled appointment. I waited forever for them to show up only to be asked if I could reschedule. I should have cancelled then. However, I replied that I would reschedule if they assured me I'd be the first appointment of the morning on any day the following week. I didn't want to waste another day waiting on them. I received a text at 9:09 on the morning of the third scheduled appointment from the tech advising he was on his way. He didn't show up until 11:30 with no apology or acknowledgement he was 2 hours late. By this time I was annoyed. He tightened the kitchen faucet (30 seconds), with no tools needed and replaced the two outdoor spicket heads (parts at Ace HW are $12/each). He quoted me $321 which I thought was outrageous but accepted. At this point, I just wanted it done. What I didn't realize until I received the emailed invoice is the total cost came to $480. The original price estimated did not include the additional $159 service fee. UPDATE - I received a call from the manager who agreed to remove the $159 service fee. He also advised the technician was coming from Bainbridge, GA which is why it took so long for him to get to my house. I have no complaints regarding the work that was performed or the professionalism of the technician. I also appreciate the manager reaching out to me and taking the time to make it right.

This company is ripping people off and ripped off my 95 year old mother. Her a/c quit and to come out it would be an xtra $50 (total $109) if she wanted them now or $50 less if she could wait 2 days...Really?? Then, they replaced a $30 capacitor and charged her almost $600. I called my a/c company and it would be $149 total. Unreal

Brandon is an absolute great plumber he listens to your concerns he is always on time he explains solutions too you and most of all he has a good reputation to his local community

Charged $109 just for coming out to see AC unit. Said $500+ to cut wires and swap out a capacitor (which can be bought for ~$15). So total would have been $600. Left without turning the breaker back on, when I did the unit started smoking.

0 Stars!!! For the love of God, run. These are the most careless, clueless, and unprofessional group of """"technicians"""" that I have EVER encountered. Save yourself from the headache my blood is boiling right now at their incompetence and lack of care.

Never use Cooper's for your HVAC maintenance. They are completely unreliable. They never show up for appointments or call with any explanation why no one showed up for your appointment. When you call them the people who answer the phones are completely useless. Can't answer the simplest questions. No one calls you back with any information what so ever. They state in the contract that if you are not 100% satisfied, you will get a refund. THIS IS A LIE. They never give you any money back. I would call another company Cooper's Plumbing & Air has zero customer service, and is completely unreliable.

Don't use them, they're greedy pigs. Their techs do good work, but the bills are unbelievable. I paid $605 for stop leak , $28 on Amazon. What's wrong with this picture? Unbelievable profiteers. Next time I want to get hosed like these guys did I'll go to a dentist.

Business ethics are a corporate value that is often lost to sins like greed and spite. When faced with opportunity to do the right thing with exemplary customer service or profit off a bad situation, Coopers chose the later. The field people I worked with were nice enough but Cooper's management clearly has a culture of money first, customer satisfaction second (or somewhere else down the line). That lack of an ethos of customer satisfaction doesn't sit well with me. For this reason I will neither do business with Coopers again nor recommend them (for AC) to anyone in the region. It's tough in a small town but it'll be worth your effort to find another HVAC contractor.

I am only giving 1 star because leaving 0 is not an option. Please, PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Cooper's Plumbing and Air. They are a dishonest company with very shady business practices. I called Cooper's Plumbing and Air to come assist with a sewage draining issue occurring in my home. Someone came out on Tuesday 4/16, a young man named Javier, who was by himself. He originally quoted me close to $400 for the initial work, and then came back in and the number was much higher - he upsold me on a 'membership' to discount the price, which then brought things to just under $800. He ended up removing both toilets upstairs to try to snake the drain, and literally never even snaked it, because he said the drain kept coming back up from one toilet to the other, after I warned him that yes it's narrow but it is doable because other companies have done it before. He in total was on my property for about 3 hours but actual work time was maybe half of that if not less. He also did fix the downstairs toilet seal. However, after that time he was unable to unclog the drain, and then after spending a sizeable amount of time outside, came back in with a new list of estimates. This included a plan to return another day and attempt to access the drain from the roof with another colleague and that would be a bill of $1,400, BUT he said he would subtract the $800 that I was spending that day. He then walked me through if that didn't work, that they would need to do a day long job of cutting into the ceiling from the first floor to repipe things and that would be in the range of $4,300 BUT at that point it would subtract the $1,400 I would have paid up to that point. I tried to move foward, and it was going to take them another two days to come back (From Tuesday to Thursday), which with no bathroom to shower in is such an inconvenience. So then they called me to come out Thursday afternoon, and right before they were going to 'dispatch' the plumber, which was going to be a different plumber because the original was not available, they wanted to make sure I understood the pricing - the woman on the phone, Neisy, told me that she wanted to be sure I understood that the full bill would be $1,200 today - I said no, that's not what Javier explained, he stood in my house and we went over it 3-4 times, and I'm telling you that he explained the $800 from the first day would be deducted from the total, and she said no, that the 'break' I was being given was for $1,200 instead of $1,400 I said no - that is NOT what I was told. She then called Javier and called me back and said he never said that - I believe this is part of their scam, to 'switch up' the plumbers as being 'unavailable' so that the person who first promised one set of pricing is conveniently able to hide off and try to ensure I'm overcharged and cannot be held accountable for the actual quote conversation that was had. As I was adamant that was not what was discussed, I heard a male's voice begin speaking who I guess was the owner/manager listening in, and he said that he would 'work with me on the price but he couldn't do $800, that he needed to be paid for the work he did, and he could take $200 off.' I said what work, he didn't fix the problem, and he mentioned he was here for almost 3 hours, but of course it doesn't matter that he was outside in the yard for half of it at least. I then said I don't trust you as a company, because this is not what I was told and I asked for them to get Javier on the phone and say it in front of me because we went through it so clearly multiple times on Tuesday, but he just mentioned that he was 'sorry for a misunderstanding.' I said yea I guess facts are hard, because it's not a misunderstanding, its blatant LYING on the part of this company. I told him I no longer trusted the company, I wanted assurance that I would never be charged again for their 'membership' and I would never work with them again.

they are not committed to any of your maintenance service. scheduled several time and they rescheduled stating the plumber was in another job and will be over after only to find they canceled. Mind you I have taken time off to fit their timeframe several times and they still could not accommodate the maintenance visit. if this is a company that is going to keep their customers for long term - their service commitment needs to change.
