the gentlemen showed up and spent an hour and a half walking through my house showing me the pipes under my sinks and down in the crawl space to look at more pipes. told me he made his money doing repair work, not on the service call. tried to sell me a policy, after I told him, I wasn't interested several times, only to find out he makes money if he sells the policy. he kept saying I needed to replace my pipes, before even knowing the problem. he then sat in his truck writing me up for the work he said needs to be done to the tune oh $8000. 3 hours and $780 later, the problem still existed. had another plumbing company come out and the problem had nothing to do with the work he did. the problem was a slow drain from the main to the street. luckily this experience seems to much better. These guys came in took care of business. do not recommend Coopers. unfortunately they are the first name that comes up when searching for a plumber.

Robert did a fabulous job! We were very happy with great customer service, and Rabert took time to explain everything to us and what options were available. He's reliable and ability to fix my kitchen sink, repair and maintain machines and tools. Thank you! LSK Tallahassee

I would definitely recommend using Cooper's for your plumbing needs. I am renovating our hall bathroom and planned to install a new toilet by myself. However, I discovered the previous one was not done correctly and the pipe and flange would need to be repaired and raised to avoid leaks. I called Cooper's and they sent Jonathan out the next day. He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable explaining the steps and flat pricing up front. Jonathan was able to repair and prep the floor, then come out two days later to finish the installation. Everything looks great and it's comforting to know it was done correctly this time. Great job - thank you!

what a scam. they bait and switch over charge then want you to pay $159.00 for coming to tell you it will cost over $500.00 just to replace a 12 inch long pvc pipe and 2 connectors not even buried

WARNING, SCAM ALERT!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!! We just had Coopers Plumbing and Air come out to our house on Saturday 7/23/22 at 4pm. The normal AC people we use were not available to come out until Monday, but diagnosed over the phone it was a bad capacitor (a $10 part). We called around to a few places and Cooper's said they could get out within a couple of hrs and that the service fee would be $199 + parts. I was thinking worst case they would mark up the capacitor 10x and charge $100 for it for a total of $299 (keep in mind my normal AC guy and other honest AC companies charge only $120ish total including the service call to replace a capacitor. It was really hot in the house, so we decided to go for it. When Coopers gets there, they tell us it will be $315 for the capacitor and service call (which would have made the capacitor $116 since we already paid the $199 service call fee) and we say go ahead and do it. When the technician finishes the service call he says we now owe him $315 on top of the $199 WE ALREADY PAID!!! He did no other work than replace the capacitor and did not run into any problems replacing it, he was there for less than 1 hour from when he showed up. We then look at our credit card and he charged us $199 + $515 for a total of $714 to simply change a capacitor! Nothing else was done to our unit. This is completely unacceptable, in addition to writing a negative review on every website I can find, I will be submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

I called Cooper's for an A/C replacement quote. When I saw the price, I stated it was out of my budget. The man then tried to sell me some line that the ac unit I had down south was less expensive because up here in Tally, a heat pump is used whereas in south Florida, heat strips are used. :) Are you kidding me????? I just played dumb and said, """"Oh really?"""". I knew right then I would not give them my business. When I returned to the unit a couple days later, the AC would note work at all. I paid $150 for someone to come out on sweltering Saturday to get up in the attic. I have no proof that anything was tampered with, but it sure was a coincidence that the AC stopped working completely right after Cooper's rep was up in the attic with the unit. No, I would never use this company.

I paid then way to much for a mini split to be installed! Ive had nothing but problems and was ripped off! Dont bother dealing with there customer service they dont have much. They turned around sent out unqualified people who didn't do the job right. A one year old unit shouldn't be displaying fault codes about refrigerant. When they installed it all the refrigerant leaked out and they had to come and fix it. Really sloppy and horrible company!

Just found out through another company, that my ductwork is garbage. They oversold themselves. The unit they sold me is oversized by almost a full tonne. I have had nothing but problems since I bought the unit. Not cooling, not moving air, not enough returns in the house. Will be calling an attorney bcuz this is @*#^$&$÷,#.

This summer we called them to order the service plan for our air conditioner. Mind you there was never anything wrong with our air and it was working just fine. They came out and took pictures in the attic and said we had a leak and we need a bigger system in the attic. It cost almost 4000 dollars, so we believed them and paid. A week later my air starting blowing hot air and so another tech came out and said that the other tech did not hook something up right and claimed he fixed it. Stated I was not going to be charged for coming out, which I should be because it was there fault. This past couple of weeks they came out because it was time for a check on our service plan and then claimed we had another problem and it would be 1200 dollars. My husband made them leave the house because every since they came and changed out something want more money. We decided to call Keith Lawson and they came out fixed the 1200 dollar problem for 119.00 and stated they( Coopers Air) had rigged up our air and when summer hit it would be messed up again. They fixed the messed up work from this company who cheated us out of almost 4500 dollars because Keith Lawson said the part they charged is 3400 for was under 2000. DO NOT GET ANY WORK FORM THEM...THEY CHEAT YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE OVERPRICED AND THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET THAT I WAS CHEATED OUT OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.

I feel we were swindled $500+ from Cooper's Heating & Air. Our air went out and we called them. They were prompt about coming out the next day and they stated that there was a slow leak and that they could refill refrigerant/coolant or whatever it was to get us by until we would get a new system installed with them. Well not even 48 hours later and $500+ spent, the air is pushing out hot again. I called several other companies after them to see if they could help and they all agreed instantly that they have all had to go behind Cooper Heating & Air to fix the initial issue. AND ALL of them fix it for a much lower cost for the same product. Please do yourself a favor and call someone else.
