Didn't even show up for the initial estimate appointment. No call, no notice. Was told it was a ""glich"" in the system. How can I count on them to properly install and support/maintain the system when I can't even get them to show up for an appointment? Going to take my business elsewhere to someone who can keep their appointments.

We went through Costco and hired Cooper Heating and Cooling to replace our furnace and add air conditioning. Their cost was a little on the high side as compared to other quotes we received but we thought we would get better service by going with Cooper. The equipment they installed all works well, but the installation was was sloppy with extra unnecessary holes being drilled into the side of our house and a very poor job of repairing these holes. They also had to come back twice to finish the job as the install team did not install the fresh air intake vent necessary for the AC to work properly. I would not recommend Cooper Heating for your HVAC work.

We had Cooper install a new heating and cooling system 3 1/2 years ago and have had then our for routine maintenance since installation. They system has a 5 year warranty. We had no AC on Aug 25 during 85 to 90+ degree weather. I called Cooper and they were not able to make a service call appointment until Sept 21. That's 27 days with forecast of 85-95 degree weather expected to continue. I'm disappointed in Cooper.

I was shopping for a new steam humidifier and installation. I called the main office and scheduled an appointment for January 31st with an arrival window between 12pm to 2pm. I received an email with a confirmation of the time and the employee who was to come out. At 1pm I received a call from the employee (Tom R.) stating that he did not need to come out to provide a quote. I was surprised by this and annoyed since I was waiting around for him to arrive and he calls me halfway into the scheduled meeting time to say he does not need to come out. He said he would send me the estimate that night. The next day still no estimate. So, I called the office. He sent it to me later that night. I was shocked at the price and lack of information in the quote. The price he quoted was $4825, which is $2400 to $2800 more than everyone else price of $1900. Needless to say I purchased elsewhere.

At last, after calling several elec. companies who never called back, I called Cooper Heating and the person who answered was very polite, interested in my elec. problem, took notes of my problem, and then told me a tech. would be over the NEXT day (Yes!) . A few minutes later I got an email again of time, date. Next day cooper tech calls me at 9:45 and said he was on his way which was the time the dispatcher said: between 10am and 12 noon . So James shows up in a few minutes and this guy checks everything I was concerned about including two switch boxes I wanted checked, found everything was ok, answered all my questions I was worried about, took his time and made sure I was ok with everything, I was. Cooper Electric is going to be my first and only heating and electric company from now on. Also the price was right. This company is good. C.W.

Do not use this company!
Called them to try and fix the water heater. Was going to charge us $249 to blow out the air ducts with nitrogen. We refused , and the price suddenly dropped down to $129. This wasn't even going to be a guaranteed fix either. The price dropped even lower at the end of the session and all he did was clean. Didn't even fix the water heater and was there screwing around for 2 hours!! My entire house smelled of gas. Even touched the outside gas meter !
Gave us some outrageous quotes for parts and turns out that wasn't the problem.
We called another company out the next day and not even within 30 min switched 3 wires out and fixed the water heater!
I can't believe this is the help these days. Beware! NEVER EVER going with them again

I decided upon using Cooper as they were the company recommended by Costco for a Lennox Air Conditioner install. We have been homeowners for over 40 years and have never worked with a more professional company. Their work is top notch and in addition, they identified a few issues with the initial install of our heater by the builder and they repaired them and prevented any further damage to our heater from a poor install. I plan to sign up with Cooper for the bi-annual plan to ensure my heater and air conditioner last for many years to come. The installers knew their business quite well!

The technician himself was great. But the follow-up was not great: after diagnosing our air conditioning unit on a Tuesday, and promising to replace a part on Thursday, we heard nothing from them about whether the part was available or when they expected to get that work done. A call over the weekend to them only got us a promise that someone would call the following week. This after having charged $89 just to show up.

I saw them at a stand in Costco. I bought a humidifier from them. They installed it quickly and it's been wonderful in our home. They helped from the start and they were very professional. If I need assistance with our heating or cooling unit; I'm going to contact them. Thanks for great service.
