I would like someone from the leadership team to contact me about my service Jun 3 that resulted in a follow-up call on Jun 19th and Jun 20th before I provide my full honest review of your business tactics on YELP, BBB & Google Reviews. Please take the time to read the notes on my account before calling me to resolve. If you can't locate me, send me your contact and I will reach out.

Daniel from Coolray was excellent. He was informative and efficient. I would definitely use this company again .

They will charge you $2500 in labor when they find out you have a warranty on your system to make up the price difference. My evaporator coil has a leak after 3 years and I called them to come out to repair. At first they told me someone else has been servicing my system to try to void out my warranty. That's not true because I have only used them for Tune-Ups. Then, the technician said well you didn't use us in 2023. I didn't get a Tune-Up in 2023. I will just go with another company all together. It's really disappointing because I liked this company three years ago when I purchased this new system. I know we're in a recession but companies should try to keep a good reputation with their customers and community.

we signed up for the Home Depot 49.00 service deal, the technician came to our house and supposedly did a service, when I left the house I turned on the air conditioner to keep it cool since I knew it was gonna get warm yesterday. when i get back home my temperature in my house is 75 degrees and the thermostat is set at 71, the fan was not kicking on at all, so my husband calls another company out today and they looked at it and apparently the service technician that came out for Coolray unplugged wires and never plugged them back in, the technician that came out today said they didn't do anything to the unit that requires a service, which is cleaning the unit out and so forth, he said nothing had been done just the wires unplugged. I do not recommend this company, they are a scam, all they want to do is mess up your unit to think somethings wrong with it then you have to call them back and they charge you more.

Quality of technical service and interaction with technicians is excellent. That's their strength. The lowered rating is to protest the ever-increasing push to make technicians into salespeople so that with every visit they're expected to upsell more services or add-ons. For instance, they sometimes push for $400 for cleaning the coils and fan on the outside compressor unit, something that takes very little time, a modest amount of relatively inexpensive cleaning solution, and is a service that should be bundled into the annual maintenance which is already more expensive than many competitors. Another... after being hard-sold on this every single time they were out, I also caved and bought the HVAC surge protector for $400, which turns out to be a $70 part that takes like 10 minutes to install. I could have had a more comprehensive whole-house surge protector installed for less than that. I was also falsely told that for some reason I'd still want this even with a whole-house one. Doesn't make sense because a surge has to go through the whole-house protector to get to the outdoor unit unless that unit itself is directly hit by lightning, in which case the HVAC surge protector wouldn't have a chance to save it. So as much as I appreciate the good service, I would more appreciate less constant salesmanship and fairer pricing for some of these things. The constant sales pitches are exhausting.

I have purchased a new Csrroer air conditioning from Coolray. I found them through the Joe. Depot stand in the store. Two things I want to point out 1. Use carrier products ! Which is what I wanted . Price is exactly what I was expecting and service contract and lifetime warranty 2nd . Just got my service done by Steven Moore who was very professional and great to work with. He is a great positive attitude and overall was great to deal with Thanks again Coolray and a special thanks to Steven Moore

Horrible do not use. Made an appt and had to give them a 3 hour window after using them for years.Cancelled my day to wait at my home from 3-6 and they need showed. Well at least I got to cancel my other homes service before I waited there for 3 hours. They were also VERY rude

Very expensive quote. Technician was very thorough and kind. I just couldn't afford the quoted work.

This company generally does good work when they send an experienced technician. But occasionally I received an inexperienced and undertrained technician who was being """"coached"""" over the phone. Not good for the premium service they sell. When it comes to major repairs to the system, these guys cannot be trusted. Under the maintenance program you supposedly get a """"discounted"""" price but they just inflate the price significantly to more than compensate for the discount. Coolray quoted me over $4000 to replace an evaporator coil and that was with the """"discount"""". I had it done by another company for $2500. Cooray also tried to talk me into a full system replacement and went as far as faking some test results to further the case. The other company performed the same test and found no problem. Do not trust these guys!

So, I recently had my hvac serviced with this company using Home Depot's $29 special. A week later my system is malfunctioning. Then when they comeback, I'm told I have a gas leak which requires them to shut off the system until they can repair it to the tune of $700+ dollars. I was told it was just a coincidence after this system had a green report on it. Frankly, this feels like a bait-and-switch. And worse I feel like my heat and comfort were held hostage as the system had to be shutdown until the repair happened when the service tech wasn't even sure when the part would come in. Which happened to be """"miraculously"""" the next day. I was also informed this work has no warranty which is not what there website says. Frankly, I'm livid. Choose another company.
