I wish I could give a review of the work done in my home but I didn't get that far with Cooling Unlimited. I sent in a request to them for an estimate to have central air conditioning installed in my home. Didn't receive a response so I reached out to them again after a week-10 days. I got a response from Colleen who said she was out for a week and asked if I was still interested in receiving a quote. I replied I did and to let me know what time and day was convenient for them. Did not receive a response. I emailed Colleen again and asked if her company wanted to do business with me. Never heard back. Oh, well brought my business elsewhere and will not contact this company in the future.

We have a Carrier heat pump that wasn't working. They sent a tech out, who suggested it might be the sensors. I didn't feel confident in his explanation, and after they were installed, it didn't solve the problem. He said he got an error message and that he was waiting to hear back from tech support. Two weeks later we have yet to hear back about the error. We did hear back from a business manager who was asking for an extra $1000 because they incorrectly charged us ~$400 for the sensors. When asked how much replacements to other parts of the pump or the entire unit, they would say ""we couldn't believe the price "" but wouldn't even give a ballpark figure. We would have gotten more heat from actually burning cash. Would not recommend.

We've been trying to resolve a Carrier air conditioning problem for over 12 months. On a hot day, the condenser stops delivering cool air with error code 46. So we have to do a hard reset of the air handler almost every day. Cooling Unlimited has made many visits and each time, they are unable to troubleshoot the problem, even after we disassembled the unit ourselves to read the flashing lights of the error code and call them with it. They don't seem to have enough familiarity with electronics or training on Carrier equipment to fix difficult problems. Very few companies service and repair Carrier to begin with, and it's disappointing that Carrier doesn't ensure the service companies are trained to actually fix problems with things like controller boards.

I had a great experience with Cooling Unlimited. We were in the market for a new high-efficiency HVAC system. The estimator was knowledgeable and thorough, and patient with my questions. He stayed in touch in case I had questions. I compared the offer with other vendors I checked out and it was a good price, so we went with them. The installers were friendly, worked hard from start to finish, left the work area clean, refused to let me buy them lunch, and I couldn't be happier.

P.S.: I forgot to mention that everyone wore masks for COVID safety. Great job, guys!

Dennis, I'm sorry you didn't like my review. You are certainly leaving a lot out, and there is no explanation for the ductwork we had to have replaced last month because it was uninsulated and ruined our ceiling, other than further terrible work from your company. You can't imagine how much time and money we have spent to replace and fix things your company did. Any contractor, fireman HVAC tech or plumber who has seen this work has been absolutely incredulous. So again, sorry you don't like my review, but it doesn't make it untrue.

the guy that showed up had a mask (below his nose) and not much personality. i get it, it is not a beauty or personality contest. I asked for your basic maintenance on my furnace. he did the cleaning then tells me the heat does not work right. Says the low water cut off / feeder is not working correctly, which is why the heater didn't kick on. Huh? heater worked find b4 he arrived. I paid my $129 for the furnace maintenance..then got a $1200 estimate to fix the issue. This sounded off to me...really off. I brought in a neighborhood plumber...who in less than 20 second found the ON/OFF switch was on OFF. No work needed to be done at all. OMG- are you kidding? I would avoid this company. You are not getting a sharp, astute plumber...instead you are getting inexperience and an opportunity to be ripped off.
