This company has been family owned and operated! They make you feel like family rather than just another customer. I use them at home and so does the salon that I work at. We love Cool Care and what it stands for. I would highly recommend.

Do not have these people service your gas logs. After three visits my gas logs still do not work. The only thing they are interested in is the money. On my receipt they listed things that they did not come close to doing. Most service trucks would at least have batteries for remote controls for gas logs. Not these people. I had to drive all the way to Best Batteries close to Sandhills to pick up a battery after they left. Please believe me when I say they do not know what they are doing. The owner came twice and he knew nothing. I told him my concerns about their work and he simply did not care. All he wanted was $75.00. He left and my gas logs still are not working. I am a senior living on fixed income. Now I understand how some seniors get robbed. I just did. Bonnie Blackberg

Don't do it. Don't do it. You have been warned. These folks will renege on any agreement, lie, never return calls, and it will be up to you to fix what they won't. Stay away. Better yet, stick to Home Depot or Lowe's.

Recently a Cool Care tech came to my home to check a cooling issue. He said that the system needed Freon and he charged it and then charged me $212. A few weeks later, the system had the same problem...no cooling! I called Cool Care and spoke with Jeff and he agreed to send his service manager out there free of charge. I asked about the schedule and Jeff said the service manager would only be available a certain times. I had to take time off of work to meet the service manager at my home and he arrived 10-minutes late. He said he would check the inside unit and the one in the attic. However, he checked the outside unit and and said it had plenty of Freon. He concluded that I needed a new electrical board, which would run $675. He also insisted on charging me $100 for the visit. By the way, he never checked the unit in the attic. I cited that it was agreed this service call was complimentary and he got extremely rude with me. Ultimately, he had to let it go, because apparently his office confirmed what I was saying. Bottom line, COOL CARE, is in the business of ripping off their customers...how do I know??? My unit is only 3 years old, and before bringing Cool Care back, I had a friend check the Unit....guess what, it was out of Freon. He also told me that I was grossly overcharged for the first service too....NEVER USE COOL CARE...THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND BE RUDE ABOUT IT!

Extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Unfortunately we used this company to replace our ductwork and it was by far the WORST experience we've ever had with any service company. Terrible customer service and they charged my credit card for 1/2 of the cost ($2700) without my authorization over a month before the job was completed. Tried to resolve multiple issues with the owners but have not received a response. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB related to damages we feel they were responsible for.

The receptionist was so rude. She got hung up on info that didn't pertain to me making an appointment. Could not get her back on track and after I said """"I should have never said anything"""" she got mad and said """"ok, good bye."""" She then hung up. All I needed was to see when I could get an appointment to look at my AC. I may not have even hired them if they were backed up. Luckily there are so many other companies and no one has to stand for a rude receptionist paid by the hour and not caring about the business she works for. She'll get her check in the end.

We purchased a new home with several issues with our HVAC install which was installed by another contractor. I contacted Kenny at Cool Care and he and I went over the concerns. He corrected all problems as well as install an ERV for us. Kenny went above and beyond to correct everything and bring to code as well as remove trash and screws left in or crawl space by original installer. He explained everything he did so we could understand and followed up after his work was completed. Kenny is very honest and speaks truth and not what you would like to hear if you have a problem with your HVAC system. Even though his company is a little out of area we will be using him for service going forward. I highly recommend this company for your service.

We are new to the area we had immediate problems with our HVAC. We called the company whose name was on the unit. The tech came out and was very efficient and quoted us a price for repairs. We paid the full amount and we're waiting for parts. We had mentioned that we may be in the market for a new unit. Another rep came out that evening and sent us a quote for new units. The next day another message arrived telling us the original quote listed was wrong and was now well over double the price we were given. We immediately called and told them to keep their service call $ but refund us the $444 remaining. We were called back two days later to verify. Again we stated we wanted a refund. Now 7 days later, no refund. I called my bank. I was told if they issued a refund back to our card it would appear immediately. I called the business and was told they refunded $220???? 4 days prior. I told them what my bank said and no refund was showing and they informed me I had to wait another day until someone else returned from vacation. They had no idea why the stated refund was so low. Tomorrow we will go to their office and physically ask for our refund if we are not given satisfactory information. I cannot recommend this company due to their improper quoting, rising of prices, and inability of completing basic business tasks like issuing a refund.

Had a tech come out on a Saturday to fix an issue with my unit freezing when the thermostat downstairs is turned on. I explained to the tech what was going on, while he was there he said the issue was having to recharge the refrigerant. He went in rechecked every thing with both thermostats on (so he said) and recharging was to resolve the issue. Okay paid 294.00 on Saturday. Low and behold on Monday the unit was stil doing the same thing. Called them back on Monday, was to receive a call back , no luck. Was waiting on a callback for 3 days ( keep in mind I was calling them as well). Tech came back out stating the issue is with the zone damper. The first tech sent an invoice stating he check the zone dampers and they worked fine. Got another invoice for 344.00. The invoice showed 100.00 to be paid, if I wanted them to do the repair it would go towards the 344. Keep in mind they charge you to come out to diagnose the issue and this was the second tech that came out and I've already paid 294 for what he said the issue was originally. Had my husband call, waited on a callback for about 2 or 3 days to be told there was two issues that was causing the unit to freeze. No it wasn't 2 issues. If it was I would've been informed of that before I paid. I had you come out to fix the issue with the unit freezing and I'm still having the same problem. You're tech guy misdiagnosed the issue causing me to pay for something that wasn't the issue. First impressions are lasting and that was my first and last time dealing with Cool Care!!!!
