Recommended Customer Reviews

I was put in touch with Cool Blew through my home warranty company. Their repair professional, Bob, came to our house and rewired my circuit breaker to bypass my load management system on the house without telling anyone in an effort to fix the air conditioner. I thought there was something wrong with my load management computer and I was informed by their repair person that Cool Blew had bypassed their system for the repair. During the past three months I have had to pay $888.00 in increased SRP bills due to Cool Blew's negligence. I have put in 3 calls to speak with the owner and they refuse to call me back to deal with this significant issue! The ownership at Cool Blew should be ashamed of their leadership and their corresponding poor customer service. You would think with all of the AC companies in the Valley they would respond to dissatisfied customers!!

They need to change their name to ""Screw Blue"", because they'll screw you till you're blue.
The first technician came out last Friday and simply added 2 lbs of freon to our unit. Since he suspected a leak (without looking for one!), he added some sort of additive that's ""supposed"" to fill any leaks in the line. He stated we had about 3 lbs of freon (for an 11 lb unit) and adding another 2lbs should fix it and it worked!
Fast forward 5 days later, my AC is blowing luke warm air again! They sent a different technician who actually took the cover off the AC to confirm there was a leak.
The technician tells us in order to fix the leak he would have to remove the freon currently in the unit, fix the leak and bring the AC unit's freon to full capacity to verify it's not leaking anymore. However if he verified the leak at half of it's capacity (or less), why would he have to fill it to it's capacity to verify the leak? Also why couldn't he simply reclaim and recycle the freon already in the unit?
They make little to no $ on the freon IF they recycle it, but it's $750 ($50 per lb x 11 lb capacity). It's 100+ degrees, so they figure they've got us in a jam. My landlord decides NOT to get screwed till he's blue and my family winds up having to be in a house that's too hot for a second night!
I would NEVER trust this company with one of your home's most valuable resources. And in case you ever wind up in a situation where an AC company tells you they cannot recycle the freon already in your unit, it's either because they're too cheap to have the equipment or they just want to screw you over.
This was the worst experience I've ever had with any business in several years and I would HIGHLY recommend you choose a business who has YOUR best interest in mind, not their own!

Great family owned company. If you need hvac, plumbing or solar they can do it all. I had solar put on my house and the pigeons started to nest under some of them. Scott from Cool Blew took action, and had a pigeon expert come out, get rid of the problem as well as leaned up all the droppings. I am an owner of another hvac company, and work together with other hvac companies often. I definitely send referrals to Cool Blew when my company doesn't accept home warranties they do, or we are just too busy. Highly recommended. When things don't always go the way planned, Cool Blew does make it right when given the opportunity. Great people and great company.

We had issues with three toilets not working correctly and our water regulator was not working. Victor was the person who did the repairs from Cool Blew. I highly recommend him, he was very professional, efficient and explained everything very clearly to us. I would certainly call them again.

Cool Blew has been awesome in helping to sort out our AC problems. Due to what I see as an incompetent builder install with another company, Chas Roberts, I am left having to figure out a way forward in this heatwave. Robbie is quick, courteous and professional with helping us find the solution. I will keep updated as I navigate these waters.
Update: After two complete compressor failures with the builder grade AC (parts covered, labor and freon not), I chose to tear out the POS the Chas Roberts installed. I upgraded to an energy efficient system that blew the other one out of the water. Cool Blew was quick and provided excellent customer service. They have a 24 hr contact along with QA inspection on the new system. Cool Blew is my go to company for now on.

Yeah if I could I'd give them a big FAT zero stars. They came out, measured for wiring a hot tub, made an appointment, that morning when they didn't show up my husband called and our appointment had been cancelled!! LOL, WHAT???? Ok, upset lets go ahead and schedule another appt. how stupid on our part. Fast forward 10 days to July 4 the appointment was supposed to be at 8 am and they called to say he was sick. Sick on the Fourth of July!!! LOL. Being that I was born at night but not last night, I see right thru this story! You want to party instead of work! OK. Find a new company that doesn't make you work on the Fourth of July that way your customer isn't waiting 4 weeks to have their hot tub wired!!!!! Get outta here COOL BLEW. We will make sure to tell all our friends how ridiculous you are!
What's even more funny is the response from the company. I realize there are two sides to every story but my husband never called and said the Hot tub didn't show up. Haha. No, no, my husband called to reschedule the appointment because it hadn't been delivered and we rescheduled the appointment only for you all to cancel it instead of reschedule. There IS a difference! And this isn't the first time you all didn't show up! You're lucky I didn't include that time in here. I'm really not sure how you guys haven't gone out of business yet.
See ya!

Cool blew repair man(Dan) came about 4 pm 06/27/2017, He went outside with me to the unit, after checking unit, he said I have to call back again, if problem persist? Then he turned off power to the condenser, he said this unit need compressor booster, and he installed ""521 compressor saver"" with price tag of $346.90, plus service charge $69.00 After he left, I checked the price of ""521 compressor saver"" at Walmart was $32.00 and at ebay ranged $30.00 to $40.00 Make your own judgement if this store was over charged more than 10 times for market prevailing price. Simply I do not recommend this shop!!
A day later Dan H came back to replace the check I wrote, I told him I do not need ""Compressor saver"" All what I needed was new battery for my Thermostat. Since then my unit work just fine and he took back ""compressor saver"" and I gave him a $69.00 check.

Oh boy
Cool Blew was selected by AHS our home warranty company for 10 years
Never have had an issue with the contractor assigned by them Till now
Have an old York ac unit that started knocking which means the compressor is about to die which happened to my other unit 2 years ago
AHS replaced that with a total cost to us of $150
Now we start the really painful process with Cool Blew
May 26th Installer showed up promptly and looked at unit
Took photos for manager to submit paperwork to AHS
Now the fun begins
After 10 days and numerous teflon calls back/forth between Cool Blew,AHS and myself unit is still out of service
Still unable to get cost out of Cool Blew for the R22 required after the repair other than ""cost changes daily""
We all know how to look up costs on the internet or call another contractor
They must think we are all stupid
June 2nd..Call Cool Blew and they tell me we are on the next appointment for the day
Manager calls to tell us that is a mistake ""we have a new phone system and everyone is confused""
OK...Only to find out the parts had not been ordered yet
June 5th Cool Blew cancels order and AHS assignment of another contractor
The saga continues as the compressor has failed

Awesome company! Replaced my HVAC system. Technicians were competent and extremely polite. Cost was in line and the quality follow-up with Henry was great. He was able to take time out from his schedule to replace the spigot in my tub! Would highly recommend Cool Blew!

After going through two other contractors our home warranty company sent us they gave me the list of contractors they use and I picked cool blew after seeing all the good review on Google. They came out within a 1-2 business days, if I remember correctly and actually freakin fixed it. So refreshing to have an air conditioning company with their crap together. It's been almost a month since they came out and everything is working perfectly.
